Funky old hotel in a beautiful remote area ( 20 minutes off the main highway. Very friendly snd welcoming manager and staff. Bedroom was spacious with two twin beds, nightstands, chest of drawers and sofa. Beds we're comfortable. Linens and towels were old. Room temperature was comfortable. Lobby was rambling and encompassed several sitting rooms which included TV, a pool table, piano and numerous sofas. The hotel is across from a lake. There were boats, bikes, 2 picnic tables and a very interesting historic cabin. (It is open and you should definitely see it.) There were a number of hiking opportunities just outside the hotel. A wonderful surprise was the food at the hotel. The 4 course dinner was amazing!!! The chef is exceptional! Do yourself a favor and eat here. The morning hot and cold breakfast was perfect. We highly recommend this charming old hotel.
