Newly enhanced in 2025 with a sparkling oceanfront pool at The Reef Condominiums, this third-floor retreat (building layout may vary by unit placement) pairs relaxed Caribbean style with thoughtful essentials for couples, friends, and families. Inside, the open living/dining area frames turquoise water through wide glass, flowing to a furnished balcony for sunrise coffee and evening star-watching. The kitchen’s breakfast bar keeps snacks and beach-day lunches simple. The primary bedroom offers a king bed and, with French doors open to the living room, a full ocean panorama from bed. The guest bedroom includes two double beds and its own en-suite bath—comfortable for up to four guests. A second full bath serves the primary and common areas. We love the area- calm, quiet, full of birds, trees and other wildlife. Most of all, the property manager Scott and Akumal Direct were there to hand-hold as we transitioned to the area- what to see, where to shop, how to access taxis, etc. I definately reccomend this place and area! ##### Elise G. We got moved to another Hacienda Tortuga unit 7 and AC and wifi were also not working after another staff tried to fix it. Great view in both units though and restaurant is in-house and breakfast is just across the street the Jungle. We finally got moved to Lol Kanaab Suites unit 5 and everything was great. Walking distance to La Buena Vida restaurant and we enjoyed our stay there. Thanks to concierge Alex for assisting us. My review is for Lol Kanaab Suites unit 5. ##### G- L.
