"My husband booked this as a birthday trip and it was amazing. The staff were accommodating, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The property and rooms were immaculately taken care of. The food was amazing although we didn’t try the French cuisine, everything was 10 out of 10. Minus the room service which in my opinion could’ve been more extensive if you’re looking to stay in the room for the day. Lastly the spa, my husband booked an 80 minute massage for me as well as a Hydrotherapy massage. Overall, I slept like a baby after that. We will be visiting here again."

"We stayed for 7 nights at the Bahia Principe Explore Akumal, and it was a great experience me and my partner had in Mexico! The rooms are cleaned very well, the pools are excellent, and the buffets and beverages have lots of options to choose from. Service are also great, and the everyday activities are something to keep you engaged. The workers are also friendly and smiley which makes your day :) The all-inclusive dining are enough if you don’t have an ala carte dinner, though I would recommend you to have one. The dinner services and menu itself could have some improvements the but still good in general. Souvenirs wise, they are not as cost-effective though there are local stalls that you can bargain enough to get your price. I would definitely recommend that, but the quality of souvenirs on Bahia itself are better. Pool timing wise, the earlier the better to secure that perfect spot you wanted! There are wildlife animals in the whole resort which makes the experience more enjoyable. P.S: Use sunscreen all the time, it is REALLY HOT and burning if you didn’t (even for someone with naturally brown skin). I think that’s all I can say, and I hope you guys will or have enjoyed your vacation and stay as much as we did!"

"Ive never been to an adults only all inclusive resort, but this has become a place that my fiance and I are already actively planning to visit again, and bring some friends with us as well! Staff was amazing and seeing the animals roam free was so refreshing. 100/10 would and will visit again!"

"This is a very special place. It's a little off the beaten path, which made for a very relaxing vacation. The whole area felt entirely safe. A car would be nice, but not necessary (we didn't have one). Tony, the hotel manager, is amazing! Whatever you want to do, wherever you want to go, he can help you make safe and affordable arrangements. We ate most of our dinners at the on-site beach bar/restaurant. Roberto was a great server and made top-notch cocktails -- I enjoyed everything I had there, especially the ceviche. We booked an ocean-front one-bedroom suite -- which was massive. The quiet, mini-split air conditioning unit was located in the bedroom but sufficient to cool the entire space -- even in upper-90s heat during August. Summer is high seaweed season, and I was worried about that, but it actually wasn't a big deal. Most days it was minimal -- this bay seems to be less prone to it than other areas. One day it was substantial, but once we walked through it, the water was still wonderful for swimming. It has a light sulfur smell when you are right next to it, but it dissipates quickly and you can't smell it after it dries or when you are relaxing on their wonderful white sand beach. Definitely go during turtle season. We saw hundreds of baby turtles making their way to the water every night and watched the mothers climb up to the beach to lay their eggs. It was just magical. Thanks for a great trip -- we hope to return soon!"

"This house was the perfect transition from Canada into vacation mode in Mexico.From the moment we arrived, I loved the feeling of it. A sinuous little path lined with tropical plants and trees leads you toward the house, gradually leaving the outside world behind. And then you arrive at this wonderfully private space, with no neighbours in sight. Exactly what I was looking for.The house itself has a beautiful, modern feel without losing that sense of being immersed in the tropics. It felt fresh, peaceful and comfortable, and the privacy made it incredibly easy to settle in and truly relax.And the plunge pool! Absolutely amazing. After a long, hot day that included a temazcal, stepping into that cool water was pure bliss. It became one of those places where you linger a little longer than planned, surrounded by tropical greenery and the quiet of the property.I also loved the kitchen. It was genuinely well furnished, which matters to me because I love to cook when I travel. Having a proper kitchen with everything needed meant we could pick up beautiful local ingredients and make our own meals rather than having to go out for every meal. There is something particularly lovely about cooking with Mexican ingredients while surrounded by the sounds and warmth of the jungle.The whole house had exactly the right vibe for the beginning of our trip: modern, private, peaceful and distinctly tropical. It gave us the space to decompress after travelling and ease into the rhythm"

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The only issue we encountered was during check-in—the entry code didn't work, and we had to wait about 30 minutes before we were able to get inside. It was a frustrating start to our vacation.The beach had a significant amount of sargassum during our stay, but we understand that's beyond the owner's control. Aside from that, the property itself was excellent—beautifully maintained, very well equipped, and the views were absolutely stunning.The most unforgettable part of our stay was the incredible wildlife experience. We were lucky enough to watch mother sea turtles come ashore at night to lay their eggs, and we also witnessed baby turtles hatching and making their way to the ocean. It was truly magical and something we'll never forget.Despite the check-in hiccup, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with breathtaking views and a unique connection to nature."

"Amazing stay! Better than the pictures. Exceded expectations completely. Everything was beautiful in this home and outside very spacious for a larger group. Had a blast at this villa we were a group of 12 adults. It truly was a one of kind gem. The host, the villa crew, the cleaning service, everything was top of line. Highly recommend!!!! Every room had phenomenal AC and perfect layout."

"We stayed for an entire month and absolutely loved the accommodations, location, and owners Jesus and Perdita. They were so gracious and accommodating even bringing us some homemade treats a couple times. The apartment and grounds were clean and well maintained, and the location was close to restaurants, markets, and the beach. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend staying here."
