Not what I had expected…

No food. No water. WIFI didn't work. No toilet paper. Worst of all, the card machine didn't work and I was made to feel it was my own fault I didn't have enough cash to settle. Hotel arranged a taxi ride to an ATM to collect cash and their rep directed me to an ATM that didn't take Visa. I was in danger of losing my card. That sorted, I turned to pay the taxi driver, having unwisely agreed to pay the outward journey and he demanded 5JD for what had been a very short journey. I gave him 2.the hotel had a good write up in the Rough Guide and I was very disappointed. First time in my life I had to abandon a hotel room. Walls were moldy, the smell was awful, and when I tried to take a shower the hose just fall into pieces when I opened the faucet. We were in Jordan for 5 days. The only flaw was this hotel. Oh and not to mention that the room was prepaid but the receptionist still wanted to make me pay for the room.…
