Aix-en-Issart Holidays from £329

We stayed here for the second year in a row. It's ideally located in a quiet neighborhood but close to Amiens centre. A lovely organic supermarket is about a 5 minute walk away and also a tasty pizza restaurant/takeaway. The only downside to this hotel is that the breakfasts are very expensive, 16 euro per person per night and the beds are a little hard.

This is a really good hotel, just over an hour from Calais. Probably the best offer in 20 years of travelling this route. Great rooms, easy parking, helpful staff team.

So central, everywhere walkable, which was the main reason to book here. Had old world charm but not keen on leaving our key behind the reception desk every time we went out especially as came back to the hotel a couple of times to find the desk not manned so anyone could have taken a key knowing the residents would not be in that room. No additional chain or bolt on the door which would have made us feel more secure & no safe which would be fairly cheap add ons. The 2 buildings that were attached to the hotel had collapsed recently due to water damage from the canals running under the city, must have been scary for the occupants & hotel residents at the time. We were not aware of this until after we’d checked in & probably wouldn’t have booked had we known as a worry what structural damage there might be to the hotel itself.

Great location and friendly staff. It was probably beautiful and luxurious in the past, it needs some renovation.
