In the heart of this medieval town dating from the 13th century, sheltered by the ramparts and the Porte de Soissons, you'll enjoy a green setting and modern comforts.

La Tour prend garde welcomes you in a warm and chic atmosphere.
This superbly renovated space is dedicated to calm and relaxation, and can accommodate families or couples.
4 comfortable bedrooms. Beds ready for your arrival.
Fully equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace, dining room under the glass roof, room with massage table, 2 bathrooms, 2 WCs, terrace overlooking the watchtower.

- A deposit of 300 euros (non-cashable) is payable directly on site when the keys are handed over.

- Use of the private SPA Jacuzzi is optional.

Lovely break in a fabulous house in a peaceful village
We had originally booked to stay here at Christmas but our trip was cancelled due to Covid. We were able to rebook and stayed at end of May. The accommodation was very well appointed and the garden was lovely and secluded. Carole and Arnaud were very welcoming and helpful. All in all we had a lovely relaxing break with our family and dog. We would love to return at Christmas time. Maybe next year.

Amazing French holiday
This property was full of surprises but amazing in every way! There was plenty of room for 9 of us. The garden was beautiful and so peaceful. We wanted a French retreat and that is exactly what we got. The little village was quiet but everyone was friendly. The castle grounds and walls surrounded the house and village which was amazing. I would highly recommend this property for all of its features and its location. It’s a short drive to some of the larger towns. I’d definitely return.

Beautiful, charming cottage, helpful hosts
Had a fantastic time in this cottage. The area is beautiful but quiet, one pizzeria and a bar. Enough though! We went away to get away and it was a perfect location. The house itself was immaculate. The hosts were incredibly helpful and the cottage spotlessly clean. And the photos don’t do the interview justice. It’s stunning! We visited Christmas market nearby on recommendation from Carole and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it We stayed here with two families; 4 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of space. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful holiday and the location was perfect.
The property was lovely and catered for all of the needs of my family. The village was extremely scenic and quiet which suited us well. The ability to bring our dog was also a nice bonus. I would recommend the property to others looking for a nice relaxing break.

Delightful!
Carole’s house is delightful. Each room is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The well stocked kitchen allows for the preparation of any meal, the sunroom/ dining room provides plenty of sunlight and a beautiful view of the flower filled garden. Carole is the perfect host, welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal , you are literally surrounded by history. Not far from Pierrefonds, Campiegne, Soissons, Chantilly, Chemins des Dames, Paris... we look forward to returning.

Lovely owners and the property was amazing, the space, the light, decoration and spa... the surrounding areas are so interesting. It was warm and charming and a lovely place to stay. We booked over Christmas and they even put up all the decorations for are arrival. I can’t thank you enough for making are family Christmas get away even more special in your beautiful home. Will be back again.

Nothing bad (except we did have to unblock the upstairs shower - other peoples crap) Could do with a bit more local stuff - Doctor, Supermarket - but not a problem. Hope to go back.

Beautiful house in a great location
We had such a lovely stay here. The house itself is really beautiful and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the garden which looks onto the old town wall. The town has everything you'd need and plenty of lovely places to explore in the area.

An idyillic property in a beautiful location.
This property is an absolute gem! The reason for our holiday was a large family get together mostly to commemorate a First World war centenary and also to enjoy French culture. The stunning design not only enhanced, but inspired, our experience. The facilities within were just perfect for all the cooking, catering and celebrating which we love to do together. We had lovely weather and were able to luxuriate in the beautiful garden for most of our time there. We met Carole upon our arrival and she was a most charming person who was very keen to see we had a perfect stay. The village of Coucy-le-Chateau Auffrique is amazing; not least from a historical point of view with its extensive Medieval remains, but also its wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Our stay here was as complete delight! This property is so good that we would love to return again very soon with some more family members! We certainly recommend it!Thank you Carole and Arnaud!
