Great hotel, enjoyable stay.

The hotel is comfortable and quiet. The staff are all friendly and helpful and all speak English, which is a bonus as my French is poor at best! The décor is a little dated, with the carpets and wall paper in the hallways being a bit worn in places and it could do with being updated, but this doesn't impact on the level of comfort of the hotel.
My room for this stay (I was here in December too) was a good sized, spacious room. The King size bed is basically two singles bolted together and it was pretty comfortable. I had no issues with sleeping on any of the nights I was there. The room also boasts a trouser press and a kettle, which was a bonus for me.
Breakfast is served at the hotel and a range of food is available, but no lunch or dinner is served on premises. I found a mixture of places with 100m of the hotel though, from a Japanese all you can eat buffet, to a great Asian-European restaurant called L'Atlas on the same square that the hotel joins with. On the same square, there is also a great restaurant that serves brochettes (also salads and burgers) and another restaurant/bistro that looked to serve a good selection of food, but was closed when I went to try it. There's also a local bakery and cake shop and even a MacDonalds somewhere, but I didn't go to find it.
All in all, a quiet, comfortable hotel, with private parking and close to the local train station and local amenities.
