Room was cold at night and shower is very basic. Room locks with a bolt on the inside and you can padlock it when you go out. Despite this, as the hotel is down a pedestrian only street and they secure the front doors during the night we felt very safe. Overall fine for 1 night but would not stay longer. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very tasty and cheap. WiFi was good. Location is fantastic, 3 minute walk to the Taj Mahal. The staff were very friendly, especially the owner. The food that we ate there was good and the price of the stay was really very good. The bad things were that the rooms are small so we had nowhere to put our bags, they had to be kept on the floor. There was no daily cleaning and we got A LOT of bugs in our room. Luckily we killed them with bug spray but because we didn’t have cleaners it meant they just mounted up on the floor. There was no air conditioning, but I must admit I haven't checked that before booking, so it was very hot in the room and we couldn't sleep well. We couldn't find how to get hot water in the shower but since it was so hot in the room, we didn't mind too much.
