We loved everything about this property. The room, food and staff were all wonderful. We had a room with a private pool and we really enjoyed that. The breakfast buffet was huge with many options.

Incredible stay at the Elounda Palm. Myself and my partner enjoyed our stay so much. The staff were so helpful and always had a smile on their faces. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The pool and pool area is incredible well maintained and is a beautiful setting to relax. The poolside bar and food is of a very high level. It is a short 15 minute stroll down to all the bars and food places right on the water in Elounda and taxis are easy to get back at around 8 euros if you dont want to walk back. Don’t hesitate to book staying at the Elounda Palm.

Excellent hotel… professional service was fabulous always with a smile and super helpful both in restaurant and bar. Spotlessly clean. Good air conditioning in our rooms. Great menu choice with dietary information visible and catered for if requested (I am GF). Quiet location around 3/4 mile walk into town and a little further to nearest beach. We hired a car for the duration which allowed us more freedom to explore. Staff couldn’t do enough. Pool area was lovely with plenty of loungers available. Gym was good and spa treatments available too reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly people, good food. Wish was a little closer to the beach. It’s a mile walk. The pool tho with salty water is the best option if you feel lazy walking to the beach.

We liked the upgrade with a very nice partial infinity pool with views on the gulf... The air conditioning unit was too far and not powerful enough to keep the room cool in the afternoon and night ( we sleep usually comfortably at 80 degrees but , I think the room temp was over 90 degrees in the evenings which made difficult at times to go to sleep ...

We were a group of 6, with 4 staying in the apartment with private pool and 2 staying in the bungalow room. The view from the private pool and deck was amazing and the outside table and lounge chairs were great for our group of six. The bathroom showers need some renovating because water leaks onto the bathroom floor (very unsafe for senior citizens in our group). The view from the bungalow room was not great and the bathroom was small. The breakfast buffet food was very good but the coffee that is made from the coffee machine left a lot to be desired. I would recommend removing that machine altogether and brewing coffee in a pot instead! The hotel staff at reception were very accommodating and arranged a rental car for us in 15 minutes. We wished the staff brought our luggage more quickly to the rooms when we arrived (we had three senior citizens in our group that were exhausted after traveling 24+ hours from Brazil to Crete). The complimentary bottles of wine were a very nice touch when we arrived! Overall very pleasant stay and I would recommend Elounda Palm to others.

This is a wonderful hotel above Elounda offering just the perfect amount of luxury--and comfort. Our family loved having two rooms connected by a private pool--and luxuriated in the comforts of our rooms and patios, along with the splendor of beautiful, panoramic views. We spent our mornings enjoying breakfast and reading by the pool, lunches in town, and afternoons at nearby beaches. We highly recommend this hotel and the area for a family vacation.

Lovely room in great surroundings
We booked a junior suite complete with a fabulous shared infinity pool. The room was very comfortable with great views. The grounds were very well maintained and staff were welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. We booked B&B as we wanted to try some lodal restaurants (Elounda has a great selection). Breakfast was a good selection of cereal, fruit, yogurts, bread, cheese etc. There was some cooked breakfast available but we avoided it as it was never hot enough. The hotel is a pleasant 20-30 minute walk down to the main town and you can also take the bus or a taxi to Plaka and Agios Nikolas.

The hotel was in a great location and had nice amenities. The wifi in the bedroom could have been better although it gave us an excuse to go down by the pool to have cocktails when we needed to access wifi. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Love this hotel!
It’s the second time we’ve stayed here in 3 years and it’s just got better. The hotel is clean and fresh with lovely bright open rooms. We opted for a sea view bungalow in the upper level and were not disappointed. The room was lovely and big with fantastic views and a balcony big enough for sunloungers and table and chairs. The cleaning of the rooms was great- lovely staff, efficient and thorough. The restaurant by the pool now has an open kitchen which is fab for lunch. Lovely food and very modern presentation. Reasonably priced too. The restaurant staff, especially the manager were bright and cheerful, always happy to help and so friendly. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice, freshly cooked and always plenty of it. Lovely restaurant either inside or out by the pool to enjoy it by too. The hotel has a range of room options from standard rooms by the garden up to bungalows with private pools, I should imagine all provide the same quality experience. The reception staff were always bright, friendly and helpful arranging transfers, taxis and restaurant reservations. The hotel is situated about ten minutes outside Elounda, for us this was great as it provides chance for a lovely walk to and from Elounda by the sea for dinner each evening. It’s is of course possible to get a taxi for €6. I would recommend this hotel to couples particularly as it is quiet and spacious.

Lovely hotel, but we were a bit let down
The hotel is in a nice situation a walk from Elounda and the beach with a great pool/relaxing area and great views. We arrived late on the first night and were shown to our room, which was just off reception. There was a smell of drain and the view was onto the carpark, but it was removed from the other rooms, so private-ish. However, it was very loud when people were using the stairs and coming and going from reception so after a challengning first night sleep we asked to be moved but were only offered to upgrade at a price which was roughly what we paid for our stay. We couldn't afford that but were told that after another night we could move. The subsequent room was really lovely, much bigger, cleaner and with an aspect over the garden. As such we were really surprised the two rooms were in the same 'bracket' on the website in terms of price and it was a shame that we had the inital room allocated to us. We also had some challenges in getting served when we had evening meals as we were forgotten twice when ordering wine with our meal meaning the wine arrived after we had eaten. So while it is lovel our expereince wasn't the best.

Nice friendly hotel but didnt find that they cater well for vegetarians. We arrived 2:30am in the morning yo find ham sandwiches left for us but as we are vegetarians we did not eat them. Also we arrived early hours the following day but was charged half board from the previous day and had to check out at 12noon and no dinner was served. When i asked them if dinner is included on the last day they said no as you had received cold sandwiches the day you arrived. Also the Shower was small and found it abit awkward

Elounda Delight.
A lovely family-run hotel, beautifully furnished with elegant decor and artwork. Our receptionist, Birgit was charming and accommodating. Our sea view room was spacious and airy. The bed was so comfortable it was a joy to go to sleep! The pool area was well-designed and there were plenty of comfy sunloungers. We loved the shady garden areas under the palms. The dining area had nicely arranged tables inside and outside under the canopy of carob trees. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The food was a buffet of delights, excellent Greek yoghurt and honey too. A well-stocked library was a welcome bonus. All in all, a fabulous stay in an elegant hotel.

Friendly small hotel.
Good sized hotel (we don't like huge ones) about 20 -30 minutes walk from Elounda village. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a bungalow which was a lovely big room but didn't have much of a view because of the palm trees outside - on the second day they allowed us to change to a sea view room with a large terrace outside - room not quite so nice as the bungalow but the view from the terrace was amazing. Breakfasts were good with lovely fresh juices, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, beautiful freshly made pastries, cooked breakfast components in warming buffet trays, lovely breads and more! We only had dinner in the hotel once (as we were b&b and prefer to try various local tavernas) but it was a good meal and we were given some complimentary desserts from the buffet. We had lunch one day by the pool and that was good too. The walk down to Elounda was fairly well lit and not too difficult, harder on the way back as the last bit is uphill. Great selection of tavernas/restaurants/cafes in Elounda. Our favourites were Okeanis, Vacchus and Paradissos (the nearest to Elounda Palm as it was near the route to the Spinalonga peninsula). All in all we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel - you do have to pay extra for use of the room safe /pool towels - the pool is saltwater and pretty cold but very clean. Would recommend if you don't mind the walk into Elounda.

Lovely hotel about a 20 min fast walk away from centre of Elounda where the shops, restaurants and taxis are. Staff were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely each day, lots of choice for even the fussiest of eaters and never too crowded. The bed in our junior suite was very comfy and we had really peaceful nights. The room is very basic and smaller than it is portrayed in photos, but has all you’d need. Our one gripe is that we specifically paid extra for the junior suite with the private pool, but the water was freezing, even for my husband, so our baby didn’t get to use it unfortunately. The same goes for the baby pool and the main pool, both freezing, avoided by most people lazing around the pool. We visited in the first week of October and would have hoped for them to be heated. Other than that, a great experience!

Fantastic family holiday
Had a wonderful family holiday at Elounda Palm Hotel. Beautiful location with such attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. We were allocated to a sister hotel on our first night but were upgraded to a junior suite with our own pool the following day. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in very pretty grounds
This was our first time at this hotel, and we will definitely go back. Extremely friendly staff, this is a really beautiful hotel with a large pool and sea views. It's a 20-minute stroll into Elounda, where there are excellent restaurants. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, and it's great value for money.

Lovely hotel in good location
Lovely hotel in a good location with relaxing sea views. Easy access to Elounda for the harbour, shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants and only a 10 minute drive to Agios Nikolaos. The hotel has lovely gardens and a really big pool. Interesting design of suites and bungalows to maximise views and relaxation. Excellent breakfast choices and food was hot when it should be as it was restocked so often. Excellent staff throughout the hotel, friendly, helpful and happy. Very good level of cleanliness, however thought that the room surfaces could have had a wipe down for dust during 13 nights. Noise levels were good and we did not experience 'late night revellers'! Our only criticism is the lack of thought to those less mobile. There is no designated parking near the reception so it was always 'first come first served' and I often had to leave Mum standing alone with a wall to lean on whilst I found a parking space somewhere. Our suite was lovely but the single beds were on a wall to wall raised wooden platform and as Mum could not get into bed from the bottom and swing her legs round, I had to make up the sofa bed each night and convert it back to a sofa each morning.

We loved the senior villa. The views were wonderful and the accommodation excellent for a family of four (2 adult children) The private infinity pool was a perfect size and we enjoyed the seclusion as the villa was completely private. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and evening buffet looked good - although we did not eat there as we preferred to go into Elounda/Plaka/Agos Niochlos to eat. We had hired a car so this suited us. Excellent cocktails from Sotos at the hotel pool bar!

Mid sized Family Hotel, quietish and friendly.
We were returning to Crete for the first time in 25 years, apart from the town being a little bigger, the calm atmosphere and friendliness of the locals was still the same. The Hotel is hidden in the hill rising from the sea, affording fantastic views. We had a room with an infinity pool looking out to Sea and the island in front of the hotel. It was an easy walk into town, taking 10 to 20 minutes depending on your speed and ability. The hotel is small enough to feel personal, but big enough to offer a great selection of food and drink on site. The rooms range from rooms with personal pools, rooms called bungalows, which are large double rooms, and doubles. Staff will go the extra mile to accommodate your needs, the gardener is always busy, and the beautiful gardens reflect this, and members of the family who own the Hotel are always around but unobtrusive. Watch out for the Barman, Sitirus, he is a charming character, he likes nothing more than to make sure you have what you require and goes out of his way to ensure you have a time at the bar. All in all a very good stay.

Beautiful stay in a wonderfully friendly hotel. Excellent service, the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed - in particular a lovely lady named Argiro who looked after us so well! Beautiful setting with amazing views, great food and comfy spacious rooms. Can't wait to go back.
