![La Medina d Agadir

The Moroccan born, Italian architect, Coco Polizzi wanted to replace the Medina lost in Agadir’s devastating 1960s earthquake and managed to complete this cultural hive in 2007. The 13 acre medina was made entirely by hand from local stone, brick and wood, which was decorated using both Berber and Saharan styles.

The area is a combination of a living ethnological museum, bazaar and art workshops. Local painters, craftsmen, jewellers and carpenters regularly use the studios and open spaces to showcase their art and latest ware. "So ill start with everything good then ill go to what I didnt like. The atmosphere and the way everything looks is amazing, I loved that about the hotel, honestly very nice, the Spa, Hammam and massage was fantastic I would love to do again. The staff were very friendly and helped us with multiple things. There are multiple places to eat close by which makes it a great location. I didnt really eat at the hotel because it is very overpriced, an Omelette there is like 16€ when you can go to a cafe...

"We visited in December so we didn't really have the opportunity to enjoy the pool. Our seaview balcony allowed us to enjoy sunsets. However, the balcony also faces a neighboring rooftop bar. 5 out of the 10 nights we were there, music was blasting til 1 am or later. "

"Breakfast and Full Board was okay - but gets very busy there was times when we couldn’t find seats or plates - but the staff helped. It’s helps having a McDonalds opposite the hotel - kids opted for that some nights. The kids club and entertainment staff was really nice - both my kids loved spending time with “Nana” The food at the pool was nice and there is a Shisha Lounge which is within the hotel which was really nice. The gym was decent managed to have x3 sessions at a cost of 100dhm We got Khadija as our housekeeper and she was really friendly helped out. "
