I can really recommend this wonderful hotel
This is a stunning small boutique hotel with wonderful staff and excellent service. The furnishings and decor are very attractive and homely and the roof terrace is spectacular. Breakfast was superb for continental! But Hotels.com needs to update its description, they don’t offer a free transfer service to the port any longer and it is not a swimming pool on the terrace but a thermal pool with waters from a local hot spring, which is simply wonderful! This is not negative feedback just a note to get an accurate description for future guests.

Amazing experience
Our stay at La Settima Luna was perfect!! Sabrina was a great host. She gave great recommendations on what to see and kept our room impeccably neat for us. Breakfast every morning on the upstairs terrace exceeded our expectations. We had a great time at La Settima Luna and can't wait to come back.

Ok Hotel But Poor Area
The hotel is clean and has good decor but it is in an undeveloped area and is overpriced. We paid the same for a 4 star hotel in Ortigia which had a bigger room and proper restaurant. To get to the main Lipari town you need to get on a local bus which takes about 15 minutes. The area is a bit run down with no decent restaurants. The wifi didn't work in our room during the evening. Other people were more fortunate. We must have been in a black spot. The staff didn't help with this problem. They said they would make sure it would work but nothing was fixed. This is very poor for a hotel of this price. The advertising says the wifi is free so I think this is a trick as they know it doesn't work so you can't complain and get money back owing to it being "free". The breakfast was disappointing as there was no restaurant in the hotel and the food was brought in each day. The first day was pre-packaged croissants and packet desiccated toast but later on they brought fresh pastries. The fruit wasn't very fresh. It wasn't up to a hotel breakfast standard. In the evening the staff weren't around and there were no tea/coffee making facilities. The staff who serve the breakfast and drinks were larking around one day and smoking in the hotel which seemed rather amateur. The photos on the website are a lot more glamorous than the reality.

Friendly reception and nicely designed room
Small bread and breakfast place with nicely designed rooms. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Disappointing breakfast. Roof top pool was small and not cleaned.

J'ai du me résoudre à partir un jour avant à cause des disponibilités et horaires de ferries. Je l'ai annoncé 48 heures auparavant . Ils ne pouvaient ne rembourser car j'avais fait la réservation chez Hôtels.com. Ils me demandent de m'adresser pour cela directement à Hôtels.com qui est un organisme insaisissable quant ont veut s'adresser à lui autrement que pour réserver . Contre qui dois-je être fâché : contre Settima Luna ou contre Hôtes.com ? D'autre part, j'ai oublié des affaires du linge sale , auquel malgré tout je tenais . J'ai écrit à Settima Luna et n'ai absolument aucune réponse d'aucune sorte : raison supplémentaire de mon agacement. Tant qu'on reserve, ça va , pour le reste on va attendre la Saint Glin-Glin. Pour ces deux raisons je ne retournerai pas dans cet établissement : le service après vente, ça existe , non ?
