Cons: Complimentary pool towels - extra bath towels
Location: 1 km to town - nothing to do near the hotel
Hotel was rather Spartan - bathroom was tiny tiny - only 1 towel for each - no complimentary pool towels - charged for them- breakfast was ok.

Close to the coastline for dip in the sea

Posted 08-Jun-2015
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: The wifi connection in the rooms could be improved but once connected downstairs it was easier to pick up signal although it does break now and then
Location: Lighthouse, The hill of Kolona, walk alon the coast and the port for seafood and beautiful sunset view
Great place to stay - the staff were attentive and helpful. we found the wifi connection poor in the rooms and was pleased to see we could access the wifi at the bar but we were asked to not sit in the bar if we are not ordering drinks, which was just filled with one table of customers. Besides this i think it was a pleasant stay for the wedding we were attending as it was close to the venue but slightly far from the port and restaurants.

Promising, but not quite there yet.

Pros: The pool was nice and the surrounding space was nice. The view was amazing - but we had a fron looking room. Not sure how it would be in the back.
Cons: The Double bed could actually be a double bed instead of two single ones connected to one another. Drinkable water should be complimentary!
Location: 10 Minutes walk from Aegina town.
Some changes could go a long way. The hotel is not a 3 stars hotel as advertised on Expedia. It was actually a 2-star officially rated hotel. The price advertised was 90.00$/night guaranteed but when we were asked to pay we were requested to pay 90.00 euros per night. They overcharged for the coffees and mineral waters necessary at this island since tap water is not drinkable.

Dear lady,   The room charges became normally without something extra, the amount was the same as that read the copy of your reservation. Finally Charging bar   It was just about the things that consumption and prices are always the basis of price lists and receipts

Very good hotel, at a very competitive price. Excellent breakfast. Kind staff. Less than 5 euro in taxi to the port or beach, so you can walk without difficulty.

Gentillesse du personnel, qualité de la literie

Très bonne impression générale avec un petit bémol concernant la localisation,un peu loin du centre mais les taxis peuvent palier à ce très léger inconvénient. Belle chambre, literies de qualité et belle piscine.

Pros: Very welcome staff and a very nice swimming pool
We had a very good trip in this hotel close to the beach and not too far from the port (15 minutes walking)

Egina has a lot of houses in need of care and paint. This hotel is a contrast and really nicely taking care of. The hotel is a good choice according to the price. The rooms are nice and all the staff very friendly. It's accurate but not a luxury accommodation. However they do not try to be that either. The breakfast is nice but simple. Minus are that the bed was really uncomfortable (one of them especially) and that our last day the pool didn't feel so clean (the other days it was ok). If going to egina I would absolutely recommend this hotel and the price and value is perfect!

A lovely stay

If you are interested in more than just seeing the tourism of Greece, Aegina is the perfect place for that - and hotel Klonos Kyriakos offers a great base and relaxing atmosphere while there. We found that this hotel more than lived up to the its three stars. The hotel is both clean and nice, and it is situated in walking distance from some fine beaches and bathing areas and also in a perfect distance from Aegina city - although, upon your arrival and during the hottest hours of the day, the approximately 1 km from he city to the hotel can be a tough walk uphill with a suitcase, and a taxi might therefore be a good option. If you are not fond of stairs, be aware that the hotel has no elevator. The pool is shared with the hotel right next to hotel Klonos Kyriakos, but that was far from a problem at our stay. There is plenty of sun beds and space around the pool, and also the pool is big enough to fit all. The staff at the hotel was friendly and they were always ready to answer questions. All in all we were very delighted with out stay and found that everything was in order and clean.
