Worst front desk personnel/manager?

I arrived at 3pm for a 2pm check in. I was greeted by a small East Indian man/manager? who told me that my room is being cleaned right now. I was perplexed. He informed me that his hotel was packed yesterday and they were busy. I told him, I prepaid for my room a week ago and it should've been cleaned first, no? He barked do I want my money back. I said no, I want the room that I paid for. I then asked with all the previous rooms that were cleaned, couldn't you switch the reservation? He said he could but the cleaning lady was in my room now and she will be done in 5 mins. I said I will wait. I asked for a place to sit and he angrily got keys and opened his breakfast area for me to sit. He yelled, your room is done, you can check in, from the front desk to me. They had 1 cleaning lady clean all those rooms. The linen was stained. I could go on but I can't. The final message is, customer service is a language that some do not speak nor understand.

We stopped on our way through on a driving trip- so we arrived late just to sleep. It was great for the value. Comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom (microwave and refrigerator in room) and a hot breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again if in the area.

Hotel ran by a bunch of non professional people

Cons: Go to another hotel
At check in, the person who I later found out was the owner, was very rude and seemed to not find my reservation checked me in. Then would not respond to questions about the confirmation. Seemed like I was a bother to him. I went to room and decided to take shower. During my shower, I heard my door open and closed since one of the locks on door was broken. I called the front desk and asked why someone entered my room while i was in shower. The front desk clerk said it was him checking room because the owner did not actually check me in the computer and was making sure that room was or was not available. This is not good!!!!!!!

Travel on I-75

I travel a lot up down I-75 and this hotel was a good place for a rest just north of Atlanta. Quiet and the room was nice, if a bit older in terms of amenities. Very nice staff but the breakfast was just ok.

Everything was fine for the price. One thing they did not give me a receipt. I used my credit card to hold the room.I paid cash when I checked on and no receipt was under my door next morning like other hotels do.

The hallways smelled like smoke. Had trouble getting sheets for the pullout bed, had to go twice to get 1 sheet and 1 blanket and the he acted mad because I asked for them. When we went to check out it took about 15 minutes to get someone to the desk. Clerk was nice enough. Definitely would not stay there agsin

Good one-night stay near Barnsley Gardens.

Pros: Cleanliness and convenience.
The hotel is basic, clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and has very kind staff. We came to Adairesville for one night to attend an event at Barnsley Gardens. That considered, the Magnuson hotel, being about 15 minutes away and right off the highway exit, was a convenient hotel for our short stay.
