Clean hotel, newly updated rooms with nicer materials. Small Kitchen in the room. Staff were helpful. Central location. 10 minutes from train station. WIFI is free but terrible (think dial up connection from the 90's) only 2 small towels + hand towel.
Great for a 1-2 night stay if you need a place to crash.

This is a fairly basic hotel/apartment complex but it was everything we needed and the added bonus of the kitchenette was perfect. The location is about 10mins from the seafront and less to some of the main shops. The only quibble we had was that we did not know the pool would not be open in October. We had booked the hotel under this pretence and therefore were slightly dissappointed but we did sea swim so wasn't the end of the world.

I was very happy with this hotel. Most important to a light sleeper like myself, it's at a quiet intersection away from major roads and has very good internal and external sound proofing and quiet air conditioning. My room was quite large compared to many hotels I've stayed in in Paris and elsewhere in France. While there are not a lot of restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the hotel it's a short walk to the tram and buses and only 10 or 15 minutes into the old town. I'd certainly return in the future if the opportunity presents itself.
Comfortable room, attentive hotel staff. While the walk to the town center and the shoreline is not short, it can be easily done in approximately 15-20 minutes... or one can take the very convenient tram. We stayed at the Novotel because of the proximity to the Congress Center, since we attended a meeting there and the "organizers" all seemed to be staying there. But we lingered beyond the dates of the meeting in order to do some touring in the Cote D'Azur and Nice. We enjoyed the visit immensely and found the sights, restaurants, and ease of transportation excellent. We did not have the opportunity to dine at the Novotel, but there are excellent boulangeries in the immediate vicinity and some superb restaurants within a 10 minute comfortable stroll. As far as the hotel, specifically, we found our stay to be very pleasant.
Bad WiFi reception. Did not work both nights we were there. In a neighbourhood away from the hustle but might not suit those who want to be on the doorstep of the beach..stil only 15 minute walk from the old town and the promenade, with a tramstop nearby. Overall a nice stay but if you need your WiFi then I would reconsider.
My family stayed here for two nights in August. I would like to pay tribute to the staff on reception who were attentive, cheerful, keen to help and took time to answer questions and take an interest in the sometimes dumb queries directed at them by myself. Our family room was reasonably spacious, bright and clean. The lift is tiny, holding only 2 people without a squash, so 3 trips when we arrived to get ourselves and our luggage to our room. Reasonably good location. Only 10 minutes or so to the beach and the old time. Our buffet breakfast at 12 Euros and 6 Euros for the kids was reasonable. Over all very satisfactory.
