"A beautiful property that is well maintained. The view from the balcony in our room was incredible and the property gardens and pool are gorgeous. But the best part of our stay is the wonderful staff. They go out their way to be kind and helpful and we really appreciated all their efforts. "Beautiful property to stay at - breakfast was excellent, location on point for walking - parking available very close to hotel - don’t rent a large car - as you have to drive through tight village streets!! We parked our car & walked everywhere for our 3 day stay. Extremely clean facilities & the garden & pool just perfect for a hot day - we loved staying here. Thank you."

We would highly recommend this hotel and Ragusa Ilba."

"Amazing location, staff, resort and amenities. 5 star all of the way! We have traveled for years and stayed in Aman resorts, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Como, etc., and Icona Ragusa is more comparable to an Aman in privacy and luxury. Do not listen to the bad reviews as room prices were low upon opening and clearly some riff raff booked and expected 2 star on property prices. Complete seclusion and a beautiful, private beach with calm, clear water for miles. The GM and employees are incredibly trained and attentive and there for any request. The beds and large, fluffy towels are a dream and no detail is spared - turn down service thoughtfully done with slippers and water bottles awaiting alongside bed. Food and cocktails were delicious and they had a range of top shelf liquors, including tequilas which are hard to find in Sicily. Despite the resort being almost empty, they had a fabulous piano player in the evenings. If you visit Agrigento and Taormina, a must stop for a couple days of calm serenity with no crowds. RUN to book before it is discovered. You won’t be sorry!"

"An absolutely wonderful hotel. The people were extraodinarily gracious, welcoming and relentlessly helpful and kind. The room was oddly shaped, but who cares? The bed was luxuriously comfortable. Breakfast? Incredible? Over-the-top excellent. One note: The hotel is located in a modern, developed and somewhat sterile suburb of Modica, a bit removed from the city itself. Ask the people at the desk to arrange transportation to and from the town with Stefano, a most excellent and thoughtful driver."
