Very rough paint job over a place that is falling apart - the walls had large cracks in them. Smelled like bleach. There was no cold water, and it was not drinkable.

Pleasant stay
We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great each morning with lots of choices. We were disappointed that the jets in the hot tub would not work, but overall a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was decent, but otherwise unimpressed for the price. The bed had sand in the sheets, the surrounding property was a mess. I appreciate the small details and maybe being picky, but the bath towels were mismatched and looked like ones that belonged in the pool area, tiles missing from the jacuzzi tub, sliding glass door and screen door were super difficult to open and close, tv picture was impossible to make full screen. Everything was very mid. The breakfast cook was very kind though.

Every picture in the listening is misleading and false advertising. The pool was so disgusting and you couldn’t even see the bottom. We would not let our kids go in it. Multiple doors to the outside looked like they had been kicked in. There are holes in the wall. The door to the room connected to ours was unlocked, so we could just walk right in to someone else’s room. Thankfully no one was in that room. I will say the staff was extremely nice and helpful! They were willing to help and even found us a new room when our first room was really loud.

I liked the jacuzzi tub, the complimentary breakfast and excellent location close to the Ocean. The property needs improvements, especially the rooms need to be detailed. The phone did not work, and the curtain did not have the hardware to open. Not enough towels for 2 people, especially for two nights and I do not like to have to ask.

The location is great and the lobby and staff were welcoming. The rooms were standard, though a little run down. There were garbage bags of ‘stuff’ stacked outside the walkway by our exterior window. Not sure what was in them-maybe items from renovations? Exterior doors were propped open and not secured at night.

The miniature golf was nice . The parking was not very good. The room was very small. Other than that, it was a clean. And the people where very helpful.

Been coming here for years and I've always been happy. This time my room was a dump. 1. Hole in ceiling 2. Tv never worked and front desk did not help. Said they couldn't leave the desk 3. coffee pot missing component to place coffee in, 4. Microwave's turntable didn't fit 5. Smoke detector always went off when taking a shower even with door closed and fan running. I'll never come back!!! Poor management is obvious. The people working here did their best, but management is obviiusly MIA.

Garabage around door in front dumpster had garbage around it, pool did not have locking door, couldn't see bottom of pool, hit tub had so much bubbles and tiles in hot tub had green stuff on grout and you could see the dirt in both pool and hot tub. Miniature golf course was run down ,hall carpets dirty. IT WAS DISGUSTING

It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great! The room was “clean” but needed a lot of repairs and work. The TV barely worked and the outside was a bit trashy and dirty. There was a glass filled with some sort of liquid sitting on a curb right by the front door for the 3 days that we stayed there and the trash cans were constantly overflowing like nobody ever changed them. BUT the staff was super friendly and great! It was quiet and I didn’t have breakfast but my boyfriend did and he said it was good. So all in all it wasn’t horrible, but not worth the price I paid.

Lobby is nice. Paint is peeling on walls, caperts look dirty, bathroom small even for me (I am 4 feet 11 inches and 195 pounds) sliding glass door was hard to open, breakfast smelled bad and was disorganized, guest laundry dryers were out of service. Service was nice. Location good. My spouse and I will probably not stay here again.

It was convenient to town. The area was blocked off to the beach. The card to the room was mysteriously blocked the 2nd night. Inconvenient to go to the lobby and get it fixed. Door to the balcony was warped and hard to open.

Decent Stay
Good location, quiet ..I wasn't sure what to expect based on recent reviews,.. Our room had toilet paper, it was cleaned, and there wasn't visible trash.. All the hotels in Ocean Shores are older, so I was pleasantly surprised. This place is nice and if you have kids, there is a lot for them to do..

It is too expensive, far from the beach, the hotel is too old, the hot tub did not work properly, the bathroom was dirty, almost no water came out of the tub, the main doors were damaged, there was a door leading to my room and there was no way to enter and you had to look for another door that was further away. you didn't have designated parking, they were misplaced as they didn't have space for them and you had to park wherever you could. the only good thing was the breakfast the next day, but not perfect since there were things that felt old or they reheated the food. everything is too ugly for what that hotel costs, I see it as a passing motel

The room, pool, and breakfast were very nice. But the service is dreadful. The bathrooms are never checked. No paper towels, garbage never emptied, no towels at the pool. Looks like someone pooped in the corner of the pool bathroom and it was never cleaned. Front desk people acted put out when we asked to check the lost and found. It feels like they need several more workers, and people who actually care. We have stayed here every year for 14 years but probably not again because of the deterioration. Also, really overpriced.

Liked the room and it was large and comfortable. Heater didnt work and no maintenance person available during normal business hours. No toilet paper at all. Room didnt look like it had been cleaned. Front desk clerk was the only person on duty. Breakfast was 7 out of 10 thankfully. Across the board it was a little below average.

The words "resort" and "paradise" should not be in this property name. The rooms need a serious face lift. Walls and furniture are scuffed or damaged. Walls are so thin that you can hear the baby crying down the hall and was woken up every morning by the coming and going of other guests. Room lights were dim and opening the room curtains was not an option as the room opens onto a public courtyard. The towels supplied were small and frayed. I heard several guests including myself asking for additional towels and none were available. Received 2 for a room with 3 guests and another guest received 1 towel when their room had 4 people in it.

Disappointing hotel
Came for my 3 year anniversary and I got the suite thinking it would be a great experience. Boy were we disappointed. I always check sheets when I get in and as soon as I look under the blanket the sheets were dirty like someone just put their dirty shoes all over them, we also had no towels when we got in so I had to go ask for some and to top it off since we got the suite and had a jacuzzi tub which was more expensive it end up not even working at all. So we did not even get to enjoy that either. The pictures of the mini golf must have been when they first opened it because it looked really bad. Last but not least the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. So disgusting. Waste of money!

Showerhead was hard to turn, bathtub has a crack in it. sink faucet was hard to turn on. There was no ice bucket in the room so I went to ask for one she looked in the storage room but said she could not find one she said she would look on the 2nd and 3rd floor storage, but I never heard from her. Screen door did not fit properly, sliding glass was heavy and did not lock. View from the balcony was fantastic. The only thing about breakfast I didn't like was the powdered eggs.

The lamps in the room did not work. There was only one person working, when we reported the problem with the lamps the person was so busy, she didn't make it to our room. We asked the next person about our report of the lamps not working. She didn't know anything about it.

The place was unkept. Both light bulbs were burnt out in the room. The pool area was filthy. No fresh towels at the pool ever. The only good thing was the front desk staff when I left two days early and got my money back. I wouldn’t recommend the accommodations to anyone.
