Overall I would say that the hotel was good, however, there are a couple of things which could be improved.
Firstly in the spa, bearing in mind we had booked for a peaceful break away from our children, there were 1-2-1 swimming lessons taking place using a large portion of the pool. I don't believe this was advertised as I probably wouldn't have booked knowing this.
Secondly, the restaurant was good but I was a bit aggrieved having to pay an additional £15 per person for a simple buffet breakfast.
Lastly, in the room, the bed was not particularly comfortable and so unfortunately I did not get a good nights sleep. Also, there was a fire alarm early in the morning which we do not believe was pre-planned. Fortunately my wife and I were already awake but would not have been impressed otherwise.
I would like to add that the hotel is in a great location, all the staff were amazing and the hotel is generally nice, clean, and well maintained.
