"The location was great because it’s not too far from the beach but it’s much quieter than the places on Belgrave Road. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast was great with nice quality sausage and bacon. Hosts are very welcoming. "

"We had a lovely, well stocked room in a quirky, characterful property. The house is very clean and well decorated with an abundance of interesting artwork and curiosities. Our room was excellent as were the hosts and they certainly go the extra mile to make the stay an enjoyable one. Breakfast is amazing and left me completely satisfied. "We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel and were impressed with the facilities and friendly staff. We returned for the 2nd time having also enjoyed our first stay. Love the views of Torbay and the internal architecture and furnishings of the hotel. It was a shame that the outdoor pool was closed but enjoyed the indoor pool / spa facilities."

"Check in was quick and easy. Room was sooooo hot due to all glass fronted room which had been in direct sunlight all day with the curtains open. Asked for another room which was provided without fuss.
5 min walk (max) to beach & bars, harbour & marina about 10 mins away."
"Short and sweet: you get what you pay for. Windows wouldn’t open had to put a wedge in so it would, curtains stained with unknown substance. Pillowes we had on our bed was sofa cushions. Bathroom tiles was coming up. My daughters window by her bed would have been easy for anyone to open from outside luckily was was on 3rd floor. "
