This B&B has everything you will want in Hermanus Location / views and quality. We can not recommend it enough. Hazel will also book great restaurants and any other activities during your stay
Being here for two days was an incredibly relaxing escape. Beautiful views, great food, and very nice staff. Stayed at the Fynbos villas which were very spacious and comfortable.
What a beautiful property this is. Lovely friendly staff as well. Bedroom comfort, décor, cleanliness and amenities all 5 star. Amazingly beautiful views overlooking the stunning bay area. Lovely outdoor area with bbq and pool. The place is spotless and so comfortable, we had the best night's sleep ...
The staff made sure that the 4 nights we spent at the estate were relaxing. We were upgraded to a suite with our own swimming pool and garden. It was so tranquil that on one morning we were visited by a giant tortoise.
Check in was very unprofessional. She blamed us that the expedia reservation did not reach them and we can not check in. I did show her our confirmation and the hotel has to fix the problem. After a while she was willing to call the director and the situation was handled. Staff needs training how ...
Eclectic courtyard focused architecture is the big selling point. And proximity to seaside cliff walk. The greeting staff were a bit officious on check in but improved during our stay - but all others very nice. Linda was not there when we stayed. The pool isn't particularly inviting except maybe ...
This is the no 1 rated hotel in Plet? Not to my mind, I'm sorry. Being situated on a cliff is only great when the weather is good, otherwise you are slap bang in the face of the wind and the rain. To ring for entry into the property you have to get out of your car (in our case in the rain), the dirt ...
Luxurious five-star hotels dot the spectacular landscape of the Western Cape province. And the region’s top-end accommodation comes in many different forms, from villas deep in wildlife-filled bushland to stylish game lodges with private pools and verandas. Alternatively, search for a five-star hotel by the sea, where you can enjoy stunning views of the rocky coastline from the window of a deluxe suite.
Many safaris involve joining a crowd of tourists driving around waymarked trails, but in the Western Cape you can arrange private game drives that immerse you in the wilderness around your hotel. Private reserves such as Sanbona and Gondwana offer visitors the chance to get up close to the Big Five, Africa’s most famous animals. Stop for an extravagant lunch in the middle of the bush, then spend the afternoon seeking out elephants, lions and giraffes. At the end of the day, enjoy a sundowner on the decks of your five-star hotel or lodge, watching the sun set over the Karoo.
The Western Cape isn’t just known for its wildlife; it’s also famed for its superb wines. Take a self-drive tour of the Cape wine route or hire a guide to take you to some of the best wineries in the province. The town of Stellenbosch, just a short drive from Cape Town, is the wine-growing hub of South Africa, but you’ll find vineyards across the region in places such as Franschhoek and Tulbagh. In many cases, the setting is as impressive as the wine itself – there’s nothing quite like sipping a pinotage surrounded by the dramatic Western Cape mountains.
Western Cape’s fine wines, jaw-dropping scenery and fascinating wildlife offer something for every visitor. But the region’s superb five-star hotels will take your trip to the next level, offering luxury, privacy and exclusive experiences you’ll remember forever. Use Expedia’s search filters to find the perfect five-star Western Cape hotel for you.
