Really nice hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful, you are given a detailed map of amsterdam when you check in. My room was large and very spacious. There was plenty of things to do within close proximity, lots of resturants and museums. The only consider really were that I would of liked a did player or some sort of movie rental system for the night time, but overall a very good hotel.
Loved Amsterdam and enjoyed our stay here. Tram line runs past the hotel which made the rest of the city easy to access. Many cafe's close by if you go looking down some of the of the side streets. Remember to look out for bikes when you step out onto the street , they are everywhere.
I think we've found the perfect hotel! The staff were so welcoming and as other reviewers have said it felt more like staying in Amsterdam with friends and not a hotel. The accommodation was impeccably presented and the room bigger than we had expected.
We chose Museum Suites for the location and it was absolutely spot on. Vondelpark and the surrounding area is great for a quiet stroll and a bite to eat and the city centre is only a short tram ride away. We bought our tram tickets from the hotel and even if you are a public transport novice you can’t go wrong.
Museum Suites is one of those hotels where you know you’ve booked a city break with the idea of getting out and about and exploring the wonders on offer but you feel like you could relax in your room all day as it’s so homely.
We don’t often go back to places we’ve been before but I think we’ll be making an exception for Museum Suites and Amsterdam – it was the perfect short city break.

Excellent hotel, well positioned for all main tourist sites, with superb, frequent bus/tram links just outside the hotel, to and from the airport and into the centre of Amsterdam, just 10 minutes away.
The hotel staff were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful - couldn't have been better.
The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our two night stay.
The breakfast was generally very good and quite good value for money, but the delicious fresh fruit salad and fruit juices we had on day 1, weren't available or as plentiful on day 2 when we came down, albeit near to end of the breakfast service, but was otherwise fine.
There is a lovely outside terrace to have breakfast, or just a coffee etc.
10 minutes walk from Museum Quarter and Vondelpark. Very friendly and helpful staff. Be warned, very steep and narrow stairs to rooms. Rooms very basic, no bottle of water, kettle or fridge, although there is a hairdryer. Shower good. Beds ok for a couple of nights but wouldn't want to spend longer.
I have been to Amsterdam many times and stayed at many hotels, some of them are better than this one but far more expensive so if you want clean, well equipped, comfortable and good hotel at reasonable rates, I can't recommend any other hotel rather than The Concert hotel

Small but very clean hotel close to trams, restaurants & local shops. Very close to Vondel Park to ride & walk. Hotel quite small in main areas as old converted home but our room was quite large by European standards & breakfast was limited but adequate for most people. Would stay here again.

This large grassy space is a great place to escape the bustle of the city. In summer Amsterdammers come here to stroll, jog, roller-skate, sunbathe, listen to free concerts and watch the buskers and children’s entertainers. The Nederlands Filmmuseum is a very popular cinema (free outdoor screenings in summer) with an excellent café restaurant. The Hollandse Manege is a charming period building and home to the Dutch Riding School.
