"Definitely a luxury experience"
This big, attractive, luxurious hotel could hardly been in a more convenient location, right across from the Milano Centrale train and metro station. We had an "Excelsior" room, which included a big, comfortable king bed, a sofa with adjustable-height coffee table, and a large workspace for my laptop. There was also an impressive big-screen TV (which we did not use), a minibar, an espresso machine (which I did use) and a kettle with a nice assortment of teas, which my wife was happy to see. There was also a drawer with various wine, champagne, and highball glasses. The bathroom was large, with both a tub and shower and two basins. The room was remarkably quiet, despite being on the fourth floor overlooking a very busy piazza. I opened the window on our small balcony and was startled by just how much noise that windows blocked. My only complaint about the room was that the lighting system was so complex that it needed a user manual. One of the computers in the business center was also unable to connect to the printer, but the other one worked fine, so that's a minor issue.
There are two restaurants in the hotel. We ate at both and found the more upscale one on the top floor to have the better food.
The concierge service was extremely helpful, directing us to some excellent restaurants in the area. I would strongly consider staying here next time we're in town. It's definitely one of the best places we've staying in over the years.
