"Stayed for business and I have stayed here a few times. The main reason I stay is for the gym. It is much better equipped than most hotel gyms. I do think it is a bit much to charge hotel residents £7.50 for parking per night. If you are staying and paying a pretty penny for the privilege then the car parking should be included. I haven't eaten at the restaurant so cannot comment on the food. Overall a nice hotel. "

"We stayed as a stop over on the way from Hertfordshire to Devon. Useful location close by the M5 and easy to find. Clean, comfortable, meals available, staff helpful and friendly. We were late down for breakfast but the young barman still sorted it for us. "

"Lovely welcome and speedy check in. Comfortable bed and overall good facilities including a coffee maker. A few old cobwebs around windows and room very stuffy. Sadly quite noisy but is on main road. Overall though, a lovely stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at this property both owners very welcoming it is in a quite location but it does have a road in ear shot of the property so if your a person with sleeping issues i.e noise from traffic then this may not suit you the rooms are very comfortable and clean. "This was a real find. A late decision to stay in the area led us to this real gem. The room was perfect - well decorated and all facilities provided but it is the restaurant that needs to be particularly commended. The food was amazing."

"A grade II listed property in a historical part of Shepton Mallet. Took time to read up on the area, would recommend everyone to do that, very interesting. Comfortable bed, clean room and great hosts. Some noise from the road adjacent to the Inn, not a deal breaker. Would I stay here again Yes. "
