Hotel de Selves

93 Avenue de Selves, Sarlat-la-Caneda - Map
"Bright, clean hotel close to town center"
Spacious lobby and greetings of front desk impressed us at the beginning, followed by informative recommendations for our dinner in town with detailed map. Although swimming pool (which was one of the important reasons to choose this hotel) was closed for repair, I got good impression to such friendly and helpful staffs and clean and spacious room.

"Excellent location in a beautiful city"
Though the bathroom was a bit small, overall the room was very nice. The front desk staff, especially Kathleen, were superb.

    Pocket Guide: Sarlat-la-Caneda Sarlat-la-Caneda 4 stars Hotels

An unspoilt ensemble of period architecture, Sarlat is one of France’s most enticing and photogenic towns. Crowds gather on market days (Wed. and Sat.) when stalls brim with Perigord specialities like foie gras and walnuts. Among its oldest buildings are the medieval cathedral belfry and the Lanterne des Morts tower. A stroll through the pedestrianised medieval core towards sundown is the best way to appreciate its mellow golden stonework.
