I stayed in a studio apartment in the Heart when I attended a conference in Media City. The apartment itself was well laid out and contained a dishwasher, hob, microwave, refridgerator, vacuum cleaner, washing machine and iron. The television was disappointing as the stations available were limited (not even Freeview was available). The matress was very thin and lumpy in the middle where two singles were joined together.
There was no information in the room or in the lobby about local attractions, restaurants or local supermarkets. I stayed 2 nights but there was no information as to whether there was a cleeaning service. However, the website does say something about a £20 per day cleaning service but there is nothing in the room about it. In the studio there was exactly 2 of each item of cutlery and crockery but a very steep refundable deposit of £200 was charged on arrival.
I would stay there again now I know what to expect.
Clean with all equipment needed and good views. Checking in and out was a bit complex and as I only stayed one night added a lot of hassle to the experience. The price was very good so I would say if you are staying 2- 3 nights or more it is worth the hassle, but maybe for a single night more simple to go to a budget hotel. The staff I met and spoke to on the phone were polite and helpful, and responded quickly to any queries.
