"Well placed"
Short walk from the Termini (bus and train station) which is good, about 7-8 mins. Beware of taxi drivers offering to drive you for €25. Shorter walk to hop on the buses in the morning. Equivalent to, perhaps, Oxford Street. Definitely not Mayfair. Grand old hotel, a little faded, with attentive staff. Fabulous old lift and reception room - very Miss Marple. We had a small double room as we only wanted somewhere to lay our heads. It was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay. It had a huge bathroom! The room was at the side of the hotel and quiet. Each time, on entering the room, you couldn't help but notice the drains smell which, luckily, disappeared on opening the windows. We put it down to being part of the charm of the Grand Dame Quirinale. We'd be sure to return here.

"Nice hotel and close to everything"
Stayed for 4 nights and really clean. Room had everything needed to make our stay comfortable and the breakfast choice was really good something for all tastes, 6.45am to 10.30am. Room was really hot at night but this was due to it being 22 degrees outside, we did ask the hotel staff to turn the heating off but made no difference. Air con would have been nice. Room was tastefully decorated and very modern including great ensuite. Mini fridge good to have for drinks and coffee/tea/kettle a bonus too. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and great service all round. It would have been good to know upfront when booking that as well as the tax to be paid straight to the hotel on check out of 6 euros per person per night, we were also asked for a 50 euro deposit, refundable on check out? However the deposit covered the tax on check out. Friday and Saturday night the hotel put a free buffet on in the bar and on reception there is juice, water, coffee and pastries available all day. On the evening there is a security person outside the hotel and this made us feel safe and not just anyone could wonder in. Hotel is situated so that you can walk to all the attractions or there is a metro service at Termini just 5 minutes walk away. Really recommend this hotel to all and our stay was great especially as it was to celebrate my 50th birthday.

"Nice hotel in a good central location"
The hotel is less than 10 min walking distance from Termini (train from Fiumicino Airport). Centrally located, close to the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forum. Nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Staff are very friendly and speak English well. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Would stay here again when in Rome with no second thought.

"Good base in Rome"
I selected this hotel for a family spring break trip for 3. Accommodation was a queen bed and a much more comfy than normal sofa bed. Hotel had a good location, a cool bathroom setup, and free, if a bit slow, wifi. Breakfast was great and our daughter enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of walking.

"Good"
I will probably stay here again. It is a 10 minute walk away from Vatican City/museum. It's a quiet hotel. They offer breakfast every morning at 7am for 9 euros. The only bad part is sometimes the only elevator is broken..I didn't mind but if my parents were there it would've been disastrous because they can't climb stairs.

"Perfect hotel to call home while in Rome."
I just stayed at the Giulio Cesare for a week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. All my concerns about this being my first visit to Rome and traveling alone disappeared once I checked in and discovered how wonderful the entire staff of this charming hotel were. I was well taken care of and all my needs were taken care of. Breakfast buffet one of the best I've experienced and location ideal for walking to Vatican City, public transportation and great restaurants. Quiet and safe neighborhood.

"Boutique hotel in excellent location. "
Lovely boutique hotel very close to the Trevi fountain. We had a classic room but would recommend you upgrade to a room with an outdoor patio area. They looked lovely and we did try to get an upgrade but unfortunately all booked out. Very peaceful area, comfy beds and very clean throughout. Good shower and bathroom. Nice to have mini bar but tea and coffee in the room is definitely needed. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were very attentive and pleasant throughout our stay.
