"We used the Pickled Parson as a home base for a month while visiting family. The room we had for that duration of a stay was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean and made up daily. "Yes we have really enjoyed our stay for the 3 nights.Our room was great and the day to day cleanliness by the room staff was first class.We want to come here again in the next month. Breakfast was good we only ate in the hotel for one evening meal which put us off, we had fish pie and was not the best choice ,it lacked fish variety, very small in size and not value for money."

"Very friendly staff. Amazing lovely hotel. Very open and relaxed, outside is a nice area to sit and has an area where they have games / activities which is great. England were playing and they’d set up a conference room with a screen. Dinner and bar area clean. Dinner was great. We don’t have breakfast. Room was a suite which was lovely. Only downside is no aircon nor a fan so it was very hot in the room. Overall great stay but if you can ass fans to rooms it’d help."

"Did not have a refrigerator as was advertised. Breakfast was nice. Hamburger was nice. The seabass was very tiny. Carpet in the room was clean. The manager of the restaurant was very helpful. Very convenient hotel right off the highway. Had hard to find elevators, free parking, and A/C."

"We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The location was excellent, with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit, and having on-site parking was a real bonus. Our room was clean, comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade on arrival, which was a lovely touch. We also appreciated that the receptionist personally showed us to our room, making us feel very welcome from the start. While the rooms are perhaps a little dated in terms of décor, they were well maintained and this didn’t detract from our stay at all. Overall, we had a great experience and found the hotel to be comfortable, convenient, and welcoming. We would happily stay here again."

"We had an excellent stay in the hotel right from our arrival staff were able to help and explain about parking etc. We had an absolutely fantastic room 33 with our own outdoor space to enjoy a drink or a coffee / tea in the morning. Large bed was amazing after our day driving and the beautiful roll top bath with plenty of hot water. The restaurant and bar area are friendly spacious with an excellent selection of food options. A fantastic stay we will definitely return to this hotel and have no problem with recommending a stay at this hotel to anyone."
