"Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings "
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Although hotel needs to sort out tv's in bedrooms as fitted into a unit which means the remote control doesn't work from the bed etc.., only when you stand directly in front of tv. Breakfast was lovely, although had to remind waiter to bring coffee and to warm pancakes and waffles seemed a little disorganised. Apart from that a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel. Pool was exceptional with good leisure facilities 😊

"City break"
Staff were extremely helpful, we were given an upgrade on the room, the only problem was with the weather being a little cold and wet as we would have liked to make use of the outside area by the room. Would stay there again and would recommend it to everyone!

"Close to Southampton city centre"
Very comfortable B & B with a great choice for breakfast. staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable but the view was less than perfect. There was a trailer parked outside our window. Breakfast was either continental or full English with a choice of how you wanted eggs or tomatoes. Staff were helpful in recommending places to eat locally.

"Beautiful character hotel"
Stayed for 2 nights with a friend for a relaxing break and found the hotel to be lovely. The staff were friendly and personal and the room facilities were good, with plenty of space and some extra touches like a Nespresso machine as well as kettle, or an ice bucket for our bottle of fizz! The rooms were away from the main building with the doors opening onto a courtyard so we did have to dodge the rain whenever we went out the door, but it wasn't far and the paths were well maintained. Main disappointment were the leisure facilities, which were ok but nothing luxurious, only 3 chairs around the pool and various things not working.
