Super Friendly staff, central location and comfortable rooms.
We stayed in the loft junior suite with direct access to the backyard which was perfect for us with 2 small kids.
They also enjoyed the huge bubble-bath we had in our bathroom.
The breakfast was good too and it could be eaten outside in the pleasant back yard. If we ever come back to Cologne, we will choose to stay the same place.

While I would have no problem recommending the hotel to fellow business travelers for the standard of the room and facilities, I would not do the same for the restaurant which, to be frank, didn't perform all that well during my stay.
Nice breakfast selection, but the omelette I was served had been totally botched and appeared deconstructed and the generosity of serving us a full thermos of coffee turned into a solid minus for the thermos being so dirty that it left our hands badly needing washing after using it. One colleague made the observation that this hotel might serve as a training facility for new hotel chain staff..
Dinner service was slow and the food unremarkable at best, making the colleague who chose the curry wurst the happiest of the four of us.
Front desk staff were excellent and swiftly efficient at check-in as well as checkout.
The rooms are fine, but lack common business necessities such as an ironing board, safe, coffee maker and a fridge/minibar. Also, in at least two of the four rooms we booked, the TV did not work correctly, so despite the good value, I do not think this is a four-star hotel in my book.
