"Overall nice hotel"
I stayed at the Citywest for 2 nights in early January. I arrived and was informed I was upgraded which was nice. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was as you would expect, large double, average sized bathroom, table, chair, tea making facilities. The bed was comfortable and the room was tidy. The black out curtains were great. My only criticism; - the sink shelf in the bathroom was too small, you had nowhere to actually put your toiletries - there was no water in the room which I would have thought was standard in all hotels especially an expensive one like this. Other than that, really nice feel to the place and would stay again.

"Nice hotel. Remodel actions going on. Quiet."
The hotel is about a 30 min drive using the train going to downtown. It was quiet. Very enjoyable. We had one issue with one staff member. He was rude. Everyone else was very hospitable. Places to eat nearby. Very close to the train. We stayed during Christmas. Dinner was 90 Euros for each adult. Everything, literally everything else was closed for several days. We didn't have a choice. We were able to get snacks for a few days so we didn't eat anything but that.

Nice hotel and facilities, but very noisy at night and early morning (5am) not great for kids sleeping to be honest.

Really great hotel - staff very helpful and the rooms lovely. Some say the hotel is placed too far out to access the city but it takes ~10 mins to get to the park and ride and that is perfect for accessing all Dublin has to offer. If you have a car, then that makes it a great base to explore more of Ireland too. The staff themselves sorted out our only issue within seconds and the facilities are of excellent quality - the breakfast is good value too; make sure to book it the day before though to save a little over 10%. My only criticism would be that at around 5am the heater in our room came on and made enough noise to wake us up; in the defence of the hotel, however, this is probably better than being cold! All in all, I would strongly recommend this hotel!
