The best location! All the hotel staff was very professional and helpful. The hotel shop showcases nice selections of Kyoto souvenir. The room I stayed was spacious and clean. The bathroom was great for Japanese style bathing. The only drawback was the noise level --some kind of mechanic\door closing sounds. Over all, the hotel is one of the bests for real people who love to visit Kyoto repeatedly.

we stayed 3 nights at this Hotel, The location was perfect right across from the train station and bus stop. Restaurants close by.
The room was very small but ok for 3 nights. The room was very clean and quiet.
the only negative was the staff wasn't as friendly as at the other hotels we stayed at in Japan. with the exception of the cleaners who said hello every morning with a smile.
But overall a pleasant stay.
The location is perfect. You're near almost everything is important for a tourist. Rooms are clean and comfort. Maybe A/C controller position should be change for more comfort. accessibility is ok as we had a baby trolly. Staff are helpful and friendly and know English.
This hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Is big enough without being intimidating. Staff is very friendly and helpful even when their English was limited.
They have a free shuttle to Kyoto station but the location is far from the buzz of kyoto.
Stayed in room 402 for just one night, but really wished I could have stayed longer. The rooms were really huge with plenty of facilities such as a Nespresso machine (with complementary coffee!), a bath tub and walk-in closet. It's situated just across the road from the Kyoto Imperial Palace, and walking distance to Teramachi and Nishiki market which are great places for shopping and finding good food. Staff was really helpful and recommended me a nearby restaurant for dinner. There are also plenty of information readily available from the information counter which was really helpful. 5 stars and would stay here again.
From the moment we walked in the door, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The level of attention and care we received was extraordinary. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. I can't thank them enough for making our trip to Kyoto amazing. The rooms were very spacious and everything about this was top notch! You will regret not staying there.
Nijo castle and the imperial palace are wishing walking distance. Tons of things to see around the hotel.
