Assuming you drive there, you are then separated from your car by a 15 minute walk - getting away during your stay is tough. The rooms are actually small separate houses like a holiday village and are very nice. Mine had a view of the stunning coast we were on. The place is enormous and has many places to eat. I would imagine you really want at least half board which I did not have. It has the feel of a theme park and so would suit those that like that sort of thing. It is also is heavily forested and has a large nature park which give it a Jurassic park type feel which is great if that is your thing. The pool area is lovely and there were always enough loungers. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The waiting and pool staff were lovely, very polite and attentive. However, I had a major problem with our room. It was absolutely ghastly. It was a superior partial sea view category, but there was nothing superior about it. For a start the air conditioning did not work. We reported to reception but nothing was done about. As a result our room was stifling. At night it was so difficult to sleep. We would leave the balcony door open to let in the cooler night air, but at about 5.00 in the morning delivery lorries started arriving on the road outside and so we were woken very early. Secondly, the wifi didn't work in our room for the entire time we were there. Again we reported it, but nothing was done. We asked for a table on our balcony and were told there wasn't enough room for one, but we found a tatty old table in one of the communal areas and guess what? It fitted fine on our balcony. The aerial photos on Expedia show a tennis court and this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. However the court had not been maintained and was out of use as it was unplayable. That is terrible for a 4 star hotel. Beware of all the extra costs too. If you want a towel for use by the pool it will cost you €4 per person per day. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was great! The breakfast at the hotel provided a buffet service, but the food was very good with several different kinds of eggs offered. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it was OK but not my favorite meal. Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating and helpful. We had a large balcony, which was nice to be able to sit outside. Very nice place!
