"Property a historic one, so inside and out reflects this...needs some tlc and a bit of thought for less able like grab rails in the bathroom. Our room was clean and quiet, a fan had been put in and duvets removed because it was so hot, very thoughtful. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. We would stay there again."

"This is a nice hotel that benefits from an onsite Italian restaurant which serves good food. The hotel is somewhat dated but for some this will add to it's charm. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel benefits from being on a good bus route. "

"Absolutely wonderful but we did have the best room (The Kings Suite) The only thing I would say is the windows need cleaning as the sun was beaming in the morning and it showed them up terribly. But everything else was just amazing from the suite to the art, and all the interest around racing. Breakfast was lovely too. "
