"Great location for music, restaurants, art"
Reasonably priced, but the room was way too small for two people; queen bed and night tables, dining room chair, nuke and bar fridge, narrow closet. Period. Barely enough room to navigate around the bed. They probably shouldn't really be offering it. Full breakfast was included, which was pretty good considering the absence of a steam table (i.e., everything cold but the waffles): fresh fruit bowl, bagels and cream cheese, cereal, coffe, tea, etc. Staff was friendly and hugely helpful when we needed it. Hotel is becoming a timeshare, part of the Wyndham chain, which involved a couple of promotional encounters, but nothing too intrusive. Free coffee and cookies available all day in the lobby. The best thing about this hotel is its location. If you're going to musical events -- ballet, symphony, opera -- they're all a short walk away. Two blocks down, all the different kinds of restaurants you could ask for, lots of California cuisine, which is quite fine. SF MOMA $10 away by cab, Asian Art Centre a block away. If we could get a better room for nearly the same price, we'd stay there again.
