Our one night stay was great except that our room looked out onto car park and in the early hours a couple of loud engined cars arrived, parked outside our window with engines running for a whole - too noisy and smelly!
Disabled parking could be clearer and bigger plus there were two steps, and that is where the negative ends, the management apologised for not being fully disabled friendly. The hotel was better than expected for the price and the rooms were on the ground floor and with the exception of the two steps was easily accessible. Evening meal was as good as any hotel in the area and even better than some of the more expensive ones (worth dining there even if you do not stay there. Breakfast was £5 per head and all you can eat, from cereal's and yogurt to full English with a selection of teas and coffees.
Overall even with the disabled problem it was a very good stay,
Nice hotel room. Plenty of storage space.
Lighting in room was very dull, bed sheets had stains and weren't tucked in correctly. Bathroom was a bit dated although the shower had been replaced and was powerful.

Beautiful hotel, recently renovated which means they have state of the showers, beautiful throws and proper duvets, spotless white gorgeous bedding, fantastic decor throughout the hotel. The rooms are separated slightly from the fullers pub with a separate entrance. The breakfast was fabulous where you can order from a menu and food is made to order and fresh, included full English breakfast, eggs florentine, pancakes with fruit and maple syrup, porridge with fresh fruit. Fresh fruit and cereals were also laid out on the table, beautiful dining room with chandeliers.

Generally ok for a building of this age, very limited parking. Wanted to eat after being out all day, food had stopped being served and it was not even 8 o'clock. Seemed a bit under staffed, especially at breakfast.
