"Father Day Gift"
My children got me a ticket to the Cosford Air Show, rather than having to get up early my wife and I decided to book a room near to the event. Expedia came up with the Bookatree Hall Hotel, after reading through the reviews and the proximity of the hotel to the event we went ahead and booked. The whole process was very easy and the updates from Expedia were very good and kept us informed. When we arrived at the Hotel the first thing that met us was the peaceful and beautiful location, one thing that did concern us was there was a wedding on. However our concerns were put to rest as the reception was held in a different part of the hotel and as for the disco noise we could not hear anything. the staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them if you had any questions or wanted any info on the nearest shops, petrol station etc. We decided to have a meal at the Hotel and I have to say the food was excellent and reasonably priced too. The room was very good and clean, my said it was one of the best nights sleep she has had in a long while. I would highly recommend the Buckatree Hall Hotel and if we go to Cosford Air Show next year this is the place where we stay at.

"Nice Hotel But"
We had a good stay at the Holiday Inn Telford But. The Room we had had a dent in the wall were something had hit it really hard and it felt tired, needs a bit of a freshen up and missed not having a kettle and drink things in the room. We had room service which was really useful as we arrived in the evening with a young child. Breakfast was not as good as it could have been, we were one of the first in for breakfast and the bean tasted like really cheap catering one, for money they could have spent a little more to make the differences. Over all not a bad hotel but next time we will be staying in the Premier Inn.

"Very good for an overnight stop."
I stayed in this lovely pub en route to a walking break in the Shropshire Hills. I wanted to explore Ironbridge and chose this place to stay because it looked s though it was in the heart of things. I wasn't disappointed. The only reason l have not given 5/5 is because my room was noisy because of backing on to an extractor fan or boiler that was quite disturbing! Also the only way to access my room was up some outside steps which were quite slippery. However everything else was first class...the food, the service and the warm welcome, and l would recommend it (but not room 2!).

"Quaint Inn"
Quaint is one way of describing the Bird in Hand. The decor of the room and the bar and restaurant area were slightly dated with lots of knick knacks etc. but both were comfortable and made for relaxing evenings. There was no reception area as such and I had to ring the door bell of the pub to gain the attention of a member of staff. Access to the bedrooms is at the rear of the premises and I was provided with a key to the back door as well as to the room. This suited me as I like to get out early to take photographs. The stairs are very steep and would not suit someone with mobility problems. This also applies to the steps from the car park to the pub. My room (4) was quite small but adequate for a short stay. The bar and restaurant were also quite small but this gave a pleasant intimate feel. The menu was quite extensive but not very adventurous. Good solid pub grub. One night I had local Shropshire pork chops which were delicious and on the second night I had one of the best steaks I have ever had.
