"Hotel is clean and quiet. Room was adequate in every way and included a big walk in shower. We opted not to have breakfast due to the cost of €15pp. Walked to the bakery down the street instead. Sauna is included but we did not visit. Gym next door can be used for €5 per day; we did not visit here. Our family did have dinner here in the evening and the food was not very impressive. We did use Kegeln and had a blast even if we didn’t understand the scoring. Overall would recommend and stay again...

Bei Ankunft im Hotel (vor der vorgesehenen Check In Zeit!) wären wir gerne auf Toilette gegangen, was nicht möglich war, weil kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort war und keine Toilette zur Verfügung stand."

"Clean, spacious room with amazing view up the street and Werningerode Schloss so very close upon the hill. V good breakfast and a lovely small sauna you can reserve a time for private use. We appreciated a break from the larger city hotels in Hamburg and Berlin to stay in a small cozy bnb style environment. You can step right out the door to shopping and food. The staff was v sweet and we wished we had more time here. Highly recommend! "

"Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Wanderwege direkt vor der Tür und Ortszentrum gut erreichbar. Die Verpflegung war sehr gut, Essen sehr lecker. Es wurde auch immer sehr schnell aufgefüllt. Super Küchenteam. Die Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Dusche nicht dicht, Risse im Waschbecken, Balkonmöbel am rosten, kein Tisch auf dem Balkon, Betten schon ziemlich durchgelegen. " The reception and rooms are on 2nd floor and there is no elevator or escalator so had to bring all luggages up a very small stairs. There is also no air conditioner in the room and we couldn’t open the window as the mosquitoes were coming in the room. It’s also not safe to keep the windows open all night as it’s so easy for someone to climb into the room through the windows.
