"Good budget hotel in Perth CBD."
Room was clean and bed was ok although it was an old hotel. But with the price we pay, no big deal. Value for money.

"A pleasant place to stay"
The location of the hotel was perfect for our commitment to attend The Perth Convention Centre and I enjoyed the close proximity to King's Park, although didn't tackle the steep hill up from the Hotel! We did go into the CBD on many occasions across the bridge over the freeway. The free bus service was used and we walked to most places in the city and then hired a car to visit friends out of the city. Overall a most satisfactory visit to Perth.

"nice hotel close to shopping and restaurants etc."
We come from Victoria and are used to visiting Melbourne. We found Perth to be incredibly quiet on a Saturday evening when it was time to find a nice eating establishment. This is certainly not the case by a long shot in Melbourne, so it was a little disappointing. So many places close so early!!

"Central hotel, great for short stay "
Perfect location in heart of Perth city, surrounded by great cafes and bars. Studio had a great little kitchenette with everything you would need for a short stay. Bath was great, too. Bed very comfortable. A few cracks in the wall and carpet stains/tears - it is probably due for some small upgrades but none of these factors affected my stay in a negative light. Staff were fantastic.

"Pretty good place to stay"
First of all, great water pressure. It has the best water pressure of any hostel I have stayed at. Perfect for washing my hair. The hostel is fairly quiet in terms of guests. Not too many people were in the common areas or bathrooms. The hostel night staff regularly watched TV with us or ate at one of the dinner tables. This added to the friendly atmosphere ( and likely encouraged to be respectful). It was really nice. The hostel was not very crowded and I had a room to myself for 6 nights. Not sure if this would have been the case during the summer months. The facilities were great. The hallways, common areas, and bathrooms have motion sensory lights. The doors use a tap key card to open. The rooms rooms use key cards to run on the power. The kitchen can be a bit dirty depending on the guests, but mostly clean. There are a lot of signs reminding guests to clean up after themselves. I saw one (small) cockroach during my visit. Great location. It is in the city center near a bus and Perth underground station. Super easy to walk to grocery stores, river front, shopping centers, etc. I would stay there again.

Pocket Guide: Perth Perth Central Business District 3 stars Hotels

The country's fourth largest city and booming capital of Western Australia is sprawling, but downtown Perth proper is bounded by the Swan River and the Graham Farmer Freeway and easily covered on foot. Museums, galleries, shopping malls, and pedestrian precincts characterise the CBD, while parkland wanders along the riverfront. The downtown area also encompasses East Perth, a former industrial zone now converted to residential streets, and Northbridge, a restaurant and nightlife hotspot that is also home to Perth's Cultural Centre.
