"Great place to stay and use public transit downtow"
We were travelling with relatives from England. We were able to take them downtown sight seeing and used the TTC bus and subway. Very convenient.

"Good night stay. Clean hotel. Far from Downtown."
Our experience with check in was excellent. Our room was clean. Had everything we needed. TV did not work for regular channels but we didn't ask front desk to fix as we were not there to watch TV. The bathroom door did squeak when opening and closing but no big deal. This hotel is far from downtown in case you are there for an event. Subway stops are close but we didn't use it. A lot of restaurant close by and Tim Horton's for coffee. Nice park across the street for smokers. We had a nice stay at this hotel however the morning of check out two of the 3 elevators were not working. So this was a bit of an inconvenience however the service man was wonderful in getting us and our luggage out.

"great for getting to downtown Toronto"
the rooms are clean but a bit outdated. The lock on our door was broken but when the front desk knew about it sent someone up immediately.

"Location, Location, Location"
Plus side: The hotel is centrally located to everything which is great. Subway is about 1 km away. It was a comfortable size room and there was a mini fridge and microwave. Negative side: There was no tub so the kids had to take showers but the multiport shower was great for adults. Housekeeping staff didn't do a great job at cleaning the room from one day to the next and didn't replace the garbage bags or restock towels. Breakfast was not enjoyable and catered more to the Asian palate so we didn't eat breakfast there we ate at the Tim Hortons which was about a 5 minute walk down the street. I would stay here again based on the convenience of the location.

"Facility is clean though a bit dated"
For the price, the facility was okay. It was clean though a real old building, and only so much you can do with old plumbing, appliances and fixtures. The apartment host was late in meeting us so we had to wait for him before we could get into the building. Otherwise the stay was fine.

Pocket Guide: Toronto North York 3 stars Hotels

North York was originally construed to be a suburb of Toronto, but now stands alone as a city of its own.. High-rise condominiums and large corporations can be found here, in addition to the Toronto Centre for the Arts. Vaughan has more than doubled its population since 1991 and the suburb is home to Vaughan Mills, a large shopping center, as well as to the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame and Museum.
