We had a wonderful time staying here. it was comfortable and had everything you need for a longer stay. the area is residential and safe. the house is huge and the trampoline in the backyard was a bonus for kids.two minor things to note- 1) We didnt have any empty drawers to put our stuff in. For a 10 day vacation living out of a suitcase was inconvenient. 2) the carpets in the living spaces are very well used and need a good scrub. We were notified that the apt we reserved had emergency repairs needed and were given the option to stay in Redwood City or cancel without penalty. We chose to stay in Redwood City. The apartment was in a great location, walking distance from downtown and Whole Foods among others. The carpets needed to be cleaned and mirrors and windows had handprints on them. There were old cigarette butts on the ground on the balcony. Overall the apartment was nice, child and pet friendely, was in a great location and secure. After doing several Airbnb's sometimes your are unsure how pictures will match up upon arrival. This house from the minute we got there till we left exceeded all our expectations. The house is unbelievably spacious and the backyard is great for hanging outside especially the hot tub ! We were blown away with how nice it was, and how several of the rooms have there own bathrooms conjoining. Would highly reccommend and would definately use again. Location is A1. A block from Safeway and literally 5 minutes from Stanford Campus. Parking is a bit tight with only 4 very tight spaces in a Courtyard plus 1 spot that the Manager claims for himself. A very unpleasant older gentleman who claims to be a ‘Doctor”. The place is held together with tape and hope. It reminds me of a University or College apartment building. Not appropriate for families. My Bill for the week is a fraction of what other over priced hotels near campus charge so there’s that.…Location is A1.
