"Clean,Comfortable Room; Poor Continental Breakfast"
While the hotel entrance and front Lobby appears very elaborate, the rooms themselves were a lot more dated than I expected. Our room, a 1 bedroom suite, was expansive and clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, the decor and the furniture was at least 15+ years old. It was nice to have a full kitchen, and we had a nice view of the Stratosphere tower from our room. As far as sound, we could hear the water pressure from the adjacent and upstairs rooms at times, as well as muffled conversations from both the outside hallways and the suites next door. Location was further south on the Strip than I expected, and you're a little far from the center strip action. But the "W/SLS" hotel is within walking distance w/ nice restaurants, casino, and monorail services.
I wished I didn't purchase the continental breakfast package. It consisted of coupons (issued upon checkin) which you could use at their "Marketplace" store to cover a packaged muffin and bottle of juice...There were NO self-serve breakfast facilities provided, nor were there any restaurants or eateries within the hotel. We are HILTON Honors members, so in comparison to their other hotel's breakfast settings, this was a big disappointment. I would have never opted and payed for this breakfast option, should I had known this up front...Its very misleading upon advertising presentation, so buyer beware!
If you're in the market for a quiet room that's clean, low-Key, and no frills, than this is place is for you.
