Good food, clean complex, friendly and helpful staff Expensive, no entertainment, pools closed as rain expected. too many mosquitoes, no seating around the pools. Wooden sunbeds very heavy to move, and troublesome for pool attendants.

The hotel provides a well furnished room , with clean surroundings and an expansive green lawn. The pool is clean the views are awesome. The only thing not to my liking was the lack of restaurant options. While breakfast was good , the dinner options were too restricted and taste was not great either. Overall - Bang for your Buck

Hotel is at good location, once see the Beach from hotel premium rooms balcony. Rooms are specious and clean. My stay at hotel from 12th Apr to 14th Apr was nice and comfortable.

It is situated just middle point of the light house beach. In front of the beach, they have their sister concern MALABAR Cafe. And just behind that there is Unwind resort. I don't think if they have any option to see the sea from any of the room, at least it was not there from my room#104 and that's actually not required. In night you need a pleasant sleep. So, in morning, you woke up, have a walk through the beach road, then come and seat in Malabar Cafe... Have your breakfast, then enjoy sea... same for noon lunch & dinner in evening. Only thing is the food pricing is very high in Kovalam - not only in Malabar, but also, in all hotels - so, please be ware of that. Also, please carry enough cash with you as most of the hotels including Malabar Cafe does not support card payment. But Unwind does accept the same. Over all, very good experience and I will again go there.

My family really enjoyed our 12 hour stay at the hotel. The beach was awesome, maybe next we should come during the calm season of the sea. The sea was rough, but the hotel staff was there at the beach protecting us and guiding us from danger. The food in the restaurant was great. the hotel rooms were comfortable and the services were great. People were available at your need. The hammock was great and so was the pool. Our family really relaxed at this place. We also got an amazing massage at a reasonable price.

Hotel staff welcoming and helpful. Pool area and approach needed a bit more looking after but overall a good stay. The food was very good and reasonable.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Super friendly staff as well as extremely helpful. Good, cheap food near by!
