We found the hotel to be well signposted. There is a large car park and the grounds are well tended. We only booked for one night but we felt very much at home. We enjoyed a peaceful night in the comfortable bed followed by a hearty breakfast.
Stayed here for one night, very nice room, spacious with a private bathroom, also you get hot chocolate and coffee, tea in the bedroom. I would of liked to have more time there but had a very early flight. Not hard at all to get to Stanstead at 4:30 am. Highly recommend this lovely cottage.
This hotel is set in a golf-course, so the surroundings are stunning. We booked a family suite, and were not disappointed. The breakfast was good, and rooms comfortable. I would have liked a fridge in the room but apart from that I can have no complaints. There is a restaurant in the hotel but we ...

The hotel is still very busy but has a really good atmosphere, and the facilities were perfect for my stay , which included a Starbucks, a first class gymnasium and two good restaurants. The room was very ...

Many visitors prefer the flexibility and economy of three star hotels in Hertfordshire when they come here, as a happy compromise between a smart B&B and a bigger hotel.
Hertfordshire makes a perfect destination whether you're coming here on your own, as a couple or group, or as a family. The varied landscapes of river valleys, forests and hills like the Chilterns, an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are ideally adapted for walkers, ramblers and cyclists. Theme parks such as Old MacDonald's Farm are popular with the kids, and for sporty types there are spots such as the Snow Centre and Lee Valley White Water Centre. There's so much to do here that the problem can often be simply deciding where to go from your Hertfordshire three star hotel or guesthouse for the day.
