"Very thankful that I stayed two nights at this location while on a recent trip around Iceland. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming, the food was exceptional especially the breakfasts, and the view of the river was breathtaking. By far my favorite hotel of this trip."

"Immaculate, beautiful guesthouse with plenty of space and modern well maintained facilities. The host that greeted us was very nice, kind and helpful. Shower and beds were amazing. Breakfast was delicious as well. Wonderful location off the ring road. Would most definitely stay here again."

"We would highly recommend staying here. Our host was friendly, courteous and made us feel very welcome. Our room was exactly as described and was clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on site that we dined at for dinner. The food was delicious and well priced. There is a lounge area where you can use if you want to be out of your room. Free parking is available at the front of the hotel. "

"Good parking space, easy check-in, clean room in a quiet area. I never really interacted with the staff so I feel giving a rating lower than 5 would be unfair. Also, worth noting - they had a note up saying breakfast at 7, but there was no staff at stated time. So, I just helped myself to whatever was there. 7 o clock means 7 o clock! Lol. "

"This was one of our favorite places to stay during our adventure around Iceland! Super cute cozy guesthouse was clean and provided easy free parking and check-in. Perfect location within walking distance to site seeing, tasty food options, store, and beautiful views all around. Honestly such a charming quiet town that left a last impression on us and would love to stay again!"

"Off the path small town stay but worth it "

"This property was cute, quaint, and cozy. The upstairs are steep and narrow which could make it difficult for an elderly or disabled person. I found that it was difficult cooking for 3 in terms of how the kitchen was equipped (no steamer or strainer capability). The laundry facilities are in an external building. Was only able to do 3 loads of laundry in 1 1/2 days. The village was enchanting. "

"This was hands down the worse hotel I have ever been at. The soap dispenser had 1/8th inch of soap, there were cracks in the wall, the floor was dirty, the beds crunched when you sat on them and the icing on the cake was when someone tried to get in our room late at night. We barricaded the door after that. We were scheduled to be there for 2 nights but we left after one. Horrible!!!! Learn from my mistake! Run! We asked for our money back for the second night but I know we will never see it....
