A grand hotel, perhaps a little worn in places but still a very pleasant place to stay. Has 5 floors but does have a lift. Very convenient for centre of city and Piccadilly Train Station. Due to the height of the hotel for safety reasons, the windows did not open very far and it did get a little hot.
Small room but clean and pleasant. Close to station (easy also for airport trains). Close to plenty of eating locations.
Definitely recommend staying here, but don't expect a big room, once we got our two bags in it was tough to even close the door. Nice staff. Good Price

We were in Manchester for a week so wanted a self-catering arrangement that was not on the outskirts. The Atrium did not disappoint. Overall, a really positive experience, the staff are great and the standard of the apartment is good.
Unrelated to the facilities but worth knowing is that the building is close to several bars including outside areas & is in the heart of the city so can be noisy at night.

Right in the heart of Manchester's Gay community. I am not gay nor was it made too clear on Expedia. However, that was not a concern. A well run hotel with only one drawback. It was an extremely hot night and the the room had little air circulation and no fan . I did not sleep more than a few minutes due to excess heat. I would gladly stay there again but it will not be in summer.
It's a nice boutique place and most staff are pleasant and friendly and helpful. I was on business and sometimes worked in the hotel . The room wasn't cleaned one day although there was a cleaning staff who came in and popped down towels. I asked if she's cleaning she said no and left in a hurry. No one came back to clean. I left and came back and called reception. A very polite lady apologised and explained it will have to be tomorrow. The next morning I told the lady manager on duty and she said they don't clean rooms as a matter of policy if guests are in there "to protect the staff" then added "and the customer". In all my travels no hotel has this policy. I explained I don't mind if customers were informed of this. However on other days the room was cleaned when I worked in there and no one told me that I had to get out before it was cleaned. This hotel needs to get its communication right.
