We got to the hotel and upon check in , we were offer an upgrade , which we took. Room had a balcony overlooking the ocean. leaving room with a full bathroom and down the hall the bed room with another complete bathroom. Room was always neat & clean. Staff always very helpful. Breakfast was good. Hotel taxi service was excellent. We hire Mr. Jorge Alcendra Luna to take us around various places and he did an outstanding job in taken us to all sites and places we wanted to see. He kept us companied all the time to make sure we did not get mistreated or a wrong deal. Kept an eye on our belongings and was very punctual. His prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend his services. The pool at the hotel was on the last floor with a nice view. Small but clean and service at the pool bar was good.
This was a fantastic hotel. It was my last stop over after traveling through South America for 3 months and my expectations may have been a little lower after staying in hostels but I thought this place was great. The staff went out of their way to help with anything they could. Even the young girl doing her training on the front reception desk did a terrific job and was patient with my broken spanish and assisted in English when she could.
The breakfast was brilliant. The location in Bocagrande was nice and central with walking access to everything I needed. The walled city is only a short taxi ride (or reasonable sweaty walk) away.

Is well located hotel for those who like to stay in the modern part of the city. It's clean, nice staff and ok breakfast. The only thing is that it really DOES NOT have a parking. Only small open parking space in front of the hotel on first come bases.
The only thing that I would recommend is that they should fix the showers because I stayed on the top floor and I had problems every time I was taking a shower it took me one hour because there is no water pressure .beside that I love this place people is very reliable and I would stay again if I go to cartagena.
