"Affordable conveniently located hotel"
Overall this is a good hotel. The area is a little ghetto, for lack of a better word, but we never felt unsafe. The door rattles a little bit when it's windy (there was a rain storm during our stay), at least our door did. The sink didn't drain properly and the rod to open and close the drain wasn't connected to the lever below the sink. The cleanliness could have been a little better as we found a few hairs in the bedding and the bathroom. I'm not sure if it was or not, but the wooden floor didn't feel clean, to the point where you don't feel comfortable walking on it barefoot (same goes for the bathroom). The heater worked, which was good since it was very cold outside, and the water heats up immediately (great if you're cold and you want to take a hot shower right that instant). For us, the real saving grace of this hotel was the jacuzzi tub. Relaxing in it after a long day of walking in the rain was very refreshing; I would recommend this hotel just for that tub.
The continental breakfast is just "sustenance," it's enough to get you going in the morning but I wouldn't really call it breakfast as there is no protein whatsoever, just bread (bagels, pastries, etc.), cereal, coffee, milk and juice. There is a Denny's within walking distance if you want a more complete breakfast.
As I said before, this is a good hotel overall. Don't come here looking for luxury, but if you want something centrally located that's reasonably priced and not poorly rated, this is a good option.
