No book-in time on Expedia paperwork, arrived 2pm, no compromise, not allowed to book in till 3pm. Allocated a disabled room. Bathroom unsuitable for able bodied - No shower(although stated in all rooms on booking pages), very low level very small hand basin with very large tap. Reception stated this was the room type agreed to be supplied to Expedia customers. Restaurant, reception and bar area very close and when there is an influx of customers creates an pub atmosphere.

"Friendly staff, clean rooms and great facilities"
This hotel offers cheap and fairly basic accommodation but for the money it is excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff are friendly and I enjoyed my brief stay. The bar downstairs seems lively as well.

"Dated but clean"
You get what you pay for. Checking in queues were a bit overwhelming. Suggest taking your own bedding unless you like the nylon type of sensation. Really clean room. Well enjoyed stay. 9 out of 10 :)

Stayed here when visiting the Bath and West Showground. It is only a short distance from the entrance. Room was basic but fine. Being a pub also, food and drink was to hand so no need to go out searching.

"Good for the tight budget"
If you are on a tight budget, can cope with traffic noise and are ok with basic this is a place to stay. Land Lord and staff sorted out any problems we had (child bed missing, blocked shower) quickly. Breakfast really good but service a bit slow, short of staff. We struggled to sleep due to road noise and some music in pub. As soon as we mentioned music it was turned off though and we were right above bar so sound traveled, others residents were not affected. We were compensated for any issues we had.
