"decent priced hotel close to Pittsburgh airport"
The hotel was easy to got to and leave. The best part about it was its close proximity to the Pittsburgh airport; it was a 5- minute drive to the airport. The breakfast was very decent, with a working toaster, hot, tasty coffee, and even foods not found in most free hotel continental breakfasts, such as egg patties. The indoor pool closed at 10 PM, even for adults, which was disappointing. And although the room was clean, it was very small. I did not like the awkward placement of the closet facing one of our double beds and air conditioner. The bathroom only contained a shower but no tub. Many women like myself prefer a clean bathtub to a tiny, uncomfortable shower. Also, the bathroom door slid closed--like a closet door--but did not lock. This reduced the sense of privacy. The sink handle fell off the sink by us simply trying to turn on the water. It fell off every time we tried to use the water to brush teeth, wash faces, clean hands, etc. The was a major inconvenience and made us feel like the room was subpar. I told the hotel staff about the sink handle, and they did not apologize or offer us any remedy, such as a discount. So, the convenience, relative cost, and breakfast were positive, but everything else really was pretty negative, including the service, the condition and size or the room, and the pool being closed after our long drive there. I am on the fence as to whether I could recommend it to someone I like.
