"This is a converted bank to guest rooms. Room was decorated with an “antique” style. Everything thing spotless, shower a bit small. No staff on premises. Checkin at local eatery quick and easy, but I felt the reception person was a bit condescending. Only had to see him once, so past that. Small fishing town , not much to do. Nice meal at El Grillo."

We only stayed there for 2 nights but this was by far one of the best experiences that we had throughout our 3 week trip across Iceland. The staff and hotel manager were warm and welcoming. "We had concerns before we got to the hotel based on the reviews but the apartment was awesome! The beds were ready for us with kids’ beds ready too and the kitchen functioned very well for us. The bedding was soft and felt pretty new. It was a comfortable stay. The location was great too. We can just walked to the lake with a bunch of unique houses and views. "

"I really liked this place. The employees were helpful and friendly. They have a bonus nearby if you want to buy some food for the mornings or nights when everything is closed. They have kitchen to make food even when it is closed. The showers and bathrooms are separated from the actual bedrooms which is fine. I had a good experience."
