"Great location"
Great location. Very basic facilities but the sheets and towels were clean and the water was warm. All extras were very expensive - such as it cost 100DK per page to print. We had to wait in a long line to check in.

"Convenient location"
Close to main train station and walkable to old part of Copenhagen. Perfectly acceptable rooms, very clean, very small. Staff was very helpful. Pretty noisy if the window is open as it abuts the train tracks.

"Space saving hotel good for a city break"
The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The rooms are small and use space sparingly, which is fine if you are spending most of the day out and about and just using the room to sleep in. It is convenient for the city centre and the main station - we walked to most places. The main problem with the room was the lack of ventilation which meant it got really stuffy. We had to therefore open the window at night to get air in but that means you here all the city noise.

"It is just about ok"
The only benefit is the location as it is behind the Central Station, also within walking distance to many attractions. The kitchen is quite crowed and people have different standard of cleanliness. My first night sleeping was ok but then a different girl moved in and she didn't seem to care for others and the bed shaken quite badly and woke up others when she went up and down to the bunk bed.

"Great Location!"
Amazing location(in the heart of the city), basic room. Enough just for sleep and visit the city. Great quality price. A bit noise if you get a room with a window for the street but is not a massive problem. Also the hotel rooms are really hot due the central heating (you can't regulate it) so you have to open the window. 3.5 of 5 stars in my opinion ;)

Villa Armonia Guest Rooms

Vester Voldgade 21, Copenhagen - Map

"Location, Location ......... But ..."
Villa Armonia is located right downtown in the heart of Copenhagen one block from City Hall, two blocks from Tivoli Gardens, and just around the corner from the Glypototek art gallery, to say nothing about the close proximity to a whole bunch of other main attractions in downtown Copenhagen. These are guest rooms, not a B&B, but there are very adequate facilities for preparing your own meals - fully equipped kitchen, oven, micro-wave, dishwasher, coffee maker, utensils, and a private drawer for each occupant to store their food supplies. Rooms are nicely equipped, clean. Bathroom and showers are communal and have been recently redone very nicely. Washer and dryer for a reasonable price is available. Housing in downtown Copenhagen are 5-story walkups. While there is a small freight elevator that can be used to take your luggage upstairs, it can't be used for people and the fines are quite steep if you do. This means you are walking up 3 flights of stairs (the ground floor is Ground Zero). Not too bad for a bit of exercise but you need to be aware of this if you are in anyway mobility impaired. This is a family business which means the family members aren't always around, particulary in the morning. On our day of departure, I had to lug two heavy suitcases down those 3 flights of stairs. To say I was sucking and blowing at the end of this ordeal would be an understatement. Some of the guest rooms overlook the street in front which can be noisy.

"My stay at the Generator"
Excellent location, clean facilities (comfy beds!!), and fun atmosphere. The lobby and bar area was a fun area to socialize, grab a drink or some food, or relax on the couches/hammocks. Next time I travel I am definitely going to look to stay in a Generator in other cities.

Pocket Guide: Copenhagen Copenhagen City Centre 2 stars Hotels

The formerly fortified centre is now encircled by parks and criss-crossed with paved pedestrian streets. Nearly all of Copenhagen’s sights are here, including Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Castle, the National Art Museum, Tivoli Gardens, the Royal Danish Theatre and the Round Tower. The Little Mermaid sculpture sits by the harbour in Churchill Park. Strøget has many restaurants and shops, and remains at the centre of the city's night life.
